Vibrant and ready to light up the game, Arthur Pecos thrives in his first season
The player arrived at Gávea from Paulistano and became an important part of José Neto's rotation.

Setting arenas ablaze wherever he goes and always with a strong will on the court, the number 23 has established himself as an important part of the Flamengo rotation.
Always available when called upon by José Neto, Pecos may not be in the starting five, but he doesn't go unnoticed when he steps onto the court. Shouting instructions and supporting his teammates, he displays game vision and attentiveness when called upon, making a difference for the Red-Blacks.
In 28 games played, the point guard averaged 20.1 minutes, scoring 5.5 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists. At 23, he has a 7.3 efficiency rating and is coming off a season in which he was named the NBB's best sixth man while still playing for Paulistano.
"Expectations are always the best. As we don't yet know our opponent, but we already have an idea of who it could be for the group we're expecting, we're working hard, doing our job, improving the things that need to be improved and, when the crossover comes, we can put into practice everything we've trained in these two weeks to advance to the next phase and play the best role we can on the court," said the point guard.
Flamengo is preparing for the final stretch of the New Basketball Brazil 10 and knows the strength of its squad. For Pecos, it will be the opportunity to crown his first season with the Sacred Mantle. For the Most Beloved, it will be the chance to return to the top of national basketball.
