"It's a great source of pride, an honor, and a privilege. It's wonderful to be able to write my name in the history of such a winning club with a mark like this, which isn't an individual mark; I share it with my teammates because in basketball, you only score points when there's collective effort. More important than all of that is that I achieved a high number of points but also many accomplishments for Flamengo. That's what makes me happiest," said Marcelinho, who also commented on his excellent performance. "It's the competitive spirit. Our team was coming off a loss, and I knew we had to show something better today. We didn't play well in the last game, and I concentrated on trying to do what I do best: be offensive and seek the game. The balls started falling; the team was working towards that, and I'm happy to be able to contribute to the victory," he concluded.
The next match in the series is scheduled for Saturday (May 03.05rd) at 16 PM in Bauru. Flamengo fans can watch the game on Sportv. A victory would give Flamengo the chance to decide the semi-final spot at home, alongside their fans.
