The under-22 team defeats Minas Tênis Clube and finishes the Rio de Janeiro stage of the LDB undefeated

Flamengo defeated Minas Tênis Clube 70-62 today (September 01.09st) at the Gávea headquarters in the final round of the third stage of the Development League (LDB), the most important competition in Brazilian youth basketball. Gegê finished the game as the Mais Querido's top scorer with 18 points. The team remains 100% successful after 19 matches.
"We're working hard every day, and Chupeta (coach) gives us a lot of confidence. We're united to maintain this great campaign we're having. I'm very happy," celebrated Diego Marques, winger and one of the Rubro-Negro's standout players.
The next stage of the LDB will be played in Recife, in the state of Pernambuco, from October 08th to 12th. Flamengo will face Brasília, Sport Recife, Vitória, Basquete Cearense and Náutico.
