After the NBB All-Star Game weekend, Flamengo returns to official commitments in the competition. Returning to play at Arena Carioca 1, Mais Querido faces the Basquete Cearense team, this Sunday (25), at 11 am.
In their last game, Flamengo beat Botafogo in the Rio de Janeiro derby 90-84. The match marked the end of a marathon of four games in one week, with a 100% winning record. Marquinhos, with 19 points, was the top scorer of the game.
During a week of total focus on the last two games of the qualifying phase, point guard Arthur Pecos spoke about the team's preparation.
"I think all games are important for us to achieve a great ranking. Basquete Cearense is on a very good run and has great motivation, but we have to do our job. The home advantage has to be a deciding factor and we will be looking for the victory," said the number 23.

Center JP Batista will receive a tribute before the game for completing 100 games for Flamengo in the NBB. The milestone was reached against Botafogo, in the victory of the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved) by 90x84, at Arena Carioca 1.
José Neto, the most successful coach in NBB history, will also be honored. He has a total of 198 wins, surpassing Guerrinha, currently at Mogi, who has 196. This milestone was reached against Mogi itself, on March 10th, in a 75-72 away victory.

Flamengo holds a significant advantage in the head-to-head record, with nine wins and only two losses. The first game between the teams was in the 2012/2013 season, with Flamengo winning 86-61 at the Tijuca Tênis Clube.
