The FlaBasquete squad is packed with players who know all too well what it's like to face the Novo Basquete Brasil playoffs. Among them, young shooting guard Wesley Mogi, who joined José Neto's powerful squad, has another chance to win his first title in the country's most important tournament.

At 21, Mogi arrived at Flamengo after three years playing for Paulistano. Last season, he reached the final with the São Paulo team, but finished second in the NBB9. He also ventured into the G-League, playing for Grand Rapids Drive, an affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, before returning to Brazil. Now, his sights are set on another playoff run, this time defending the red-and-black colors.

"We're preparing hard and training hard. Now it's a new championship, a new beginning. We're very prepared," said the red-and-black player.

Flamengo makes its playoff debut on Sunday, facing the winner of the match between Minas Gerais and Vitória. For the season's newcomers, it will be the beginning of their quest and a chance to fulfill their dream of winning their first title with the "Mais Querido" jersey.
