Casa Flamengo hosts a lecture on CUIDAR

By Communication - Flamengo - inAfter the success of chat with sports journalist Sérgio Américo, which took place this past Saturday (06), Casa Flamengo received this Monday morning (08) a lecture on scientific knowledge and the importance of monitoring the health of athletes for the training of high-performance professionals. Izabel Miranda Rohlfs, sports science manager and responsible for implementing the CUIDAR Project (Unified Center for Identification and Development of Performance Athletes) at Mais Querido, presented to employees and attendees some of the work that has been done at the club.
Izabel, a former high-performance athlete who later deepened her studies in exercise physiology, works with the Olympic Sports Directorate to enhance interdisciplinary approaches in sports, combining athlete training with work from various other fields, such as sports psychology and physiology. Rauno Simola, who recently joined Flamengo to work on the CUIDAR project, was also present and completed the presentation.
