CUIDAR adopts Meddit – unified electronic medical record
Software allows the creation of a single database for Olympic athletes, with remote access to professionals at the multidisciplinary center
By Raiana Monteiro - inThe Unified Center for Performance Athlete Development (CUIDAR) has adopted the Meddit toolkit, which facilitates interaction between Flamengo's multidisciplinary professionals and the club's Olympic sports athletes, making their processes more fluid and intuitive.
"The electronic medical record offers the advantages of having all Flamengo's Olympic athletes monitored regarding their health and allowing instant access to doctors anywhere they can access the internet," explains Dr. Cláudio Cardone, Medical Coordinator of CUIDAR.
