CUIDAR offers a Training Course in Physiotherapy Assessment in Sports
The project is the result of a partnership with the National Society of Sports Physiotherapy - SONAFE
By Communication - Flamengo - inThe National Society of Sports Physiotherapy (SONAFE), in partnership with Flamengo's CUIDAR, is launching a training course in Physical Therapy Assessment in Sports. On December 2nd, from 9 a.m. to 17 p.m., the club's headquarters will welcome students and professionals in the field for a workshop with Professor Fábio Feitosa, a master's degree holder in Health Sciences and a PhD candidate at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a specialist in sports physiotherapy at SONAFE.
Flamengo's Sports Science Manager, Izabel Miranda, comments on the importance of specialization.
"The physiotherapy assessment and its interpretation aim to plan an effective action program, with objectives defined based on the information collected to define the work to be developed with the athletes to prevent possible injuries and improve performance," he states.
"The objective of the course is to train physiotherapy professionals in assessments aimed at improving pre-season evaluations of Flamengo athletes who start in January. SONAFE is a national and international reference in injury prevention work," concludes Izabel.
Registration must be completed via the link by December 2nd. Students and SONAFE members pay 40 reais.
