CUIDAR offers training course for emergency care

The Unified Center for Identification and Development of Performance Athletes, CUIDAR, held a course on emergency care this Saturday (21). In partnership with the Regional Council of Physical Education, the Mais Querido center aimed to train the club's professionals in first aid and emergencies. The event was attended by 49 members of the Rubro-Negro technical committees. Those who were unable to attend will take the course elsewhere.

“The training allows for increased support in providing first aid to athletes, members, professionals and visitors to the club in the event of any incident,” said Izabel Miranda, Flamengo’s Sports Science Manager.
"Since CUIDAR also handles emergency care, we are working on two pillars: infrastructure, with six doctors and two nurses with advanced degrees; purchasing new equipment and building a new infirmary next to the Strength Center; and basic life support training for all physical trainers, coaches, and teachers, as well as updating all the Club's health professionals on urgent and emergency care," Izabel added.
