CUIDAR - Unified Center for Identification and Development of Performance Athletes - will hold a panel this Thursday (8) for the School of Athletes, Parents and Sports Professionals. The event, which will take place in the Noble Hall of the Gávea headquarters, starting at 19 pm, will be attended by FlaBasquete captain, Marcelinho Machado, Mais Querido's Land Sports Manager, Luisa Parente, and Olympic volleyball champion Fabiana Alvim. The panel will focus on high-performance sports and formal education through accounts from successful Olympic athletes themselves who will be present at the event.

Izabel Rohlfs, Flamengo's Sports Science Manager, commented on the event's purpose and the importance of addressing the issue in question.

"One of the pillars that guides athletes toward international sporting success is preparation for their post-sporting career, which means support in terms of providing the conditions to balance training and study. We count on the presence of all parents, athletes, and professionals to clarify the importance of education and sport in human development," he explained.
