In early September, the Brazilian Olympic Committee gathered journalists, opinion leaders, guests, and institutional partners at its headquarters in Rio de Janeiro to present details of the organization's Doping Education and Prevention program. During the same period, to align objectives and goals, Christian Trajano, COB's program manager, visited Flamengo, specifically at CUIDAR, for the first meeting to discuss the development and implementation of a doping policy at the club.

"The educational work is ongoing; we repeat the same information in various ways, using different media and languages, personalized for each audience, sport, and stage of the athlete's development. Until Tokyo and during the Olympic Games, we will be focused on distributing information, as well as providing all necessary assistance to our athletes so they do not become involved with doping, even inadvertently," explained Christian.

At Flamengo, the CRF Olympic sports managers, coordinators, and coaches attended the meeting. The goal is to initiate a protocol of educational activities aimed at athletes and family members of the approximately 800 people who are directly part of the Flamengo Olympic community in Gávea.
