On September 14th, at the Jury Court in Teresópolis, Dr. Cláudio Cardone, Medical Coordinator of CUIDAR, represented Flamengo during the Orthopedics Seminar on Sports Injuries, an event organized by the Orthopedics and Traumatology League of Teresópolis – LOTTE.

During the discussion, which also included doctors from Botafogo and Vasco, Dr. Cardone spoke about the multidisciplinary prevention work that CUIDAR carries out with the Mais Querido basketball teams. The exact topic presented by the red-and-black team was: "The most common injuries during basketball games: how to address them."

According to Izabel Miranda, Flamengo's Sports Science Manager, Dr. Cardone's participation in the seminar was extremely important and reinforces the leading role of the CRF's Unified Center for Performance Athlete Development within the Brazilian scientific community.
