On the evening of last Tuesday (07), Flamengo's Olympic Sports department promoted another action of the CUIDAR project - Unified Center for Identification and Development of Performance Athletes, in the Noble Hall of the club's headquarters, in Gávea. The place received a lecture with the theme "Nutrition for Athletes", with the nutritionist of the red-black rowing, Renata Parra.

The educational event for parents, students, and athletes was a success, with approximately 600 participants. It was attended by Flamengo's Vice President of Olympic Sports, Alexandre Póvoa; the director of the department, Marcelo Vido; and the Sports Science Manager, Izabel Rohlfs, who heads CUIDAR. This was the first in a series of four lectures scheduled for this year.

In early May, the Rogério Steinberg auditorium, at the Gávea headquarters, hosted the first CUIDAR training action, a project which foresees four Schools for Sports Professionals, two Schools for Athletes and two Schools for Parents this year.
