Flamengo Regatta Club, or rather, the Most Beloved in Brazil, is celebrating 112 years of its founding and glory. And, to not let it go unnoticed, a party is being held at the Gávea headquarters this Thursday (15/11).

The celebrations began at 7 a.m. with the Rowing Dawn, followed by the traditional Flotilla (rowing crew parade on Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon). On the occasion, President Marcio Braga, accompanied by General Vice-President Delair Dumbrosck and Vice-President of Rowing Raul Bagattini, raised the flags to the sound of the national anthem, the CRF anthem, and the anthem of the city of Rio de Janeiro, played by the Flamengo Charanga.

The party continued to the clubhouse, where the Chocolate Amigo and Reco Reco celebrations were held at Boca Maldita, a traditional meeting place for the red-and-black family. The "inauguration" of the Chapel of Saint Jude Thaddeus, one of the most anticipated additions for members and devotees of the Patron Saint, was blessed by Father Benedito.

In the professional field, the red-and-black artists took the place of the players and held the famous football matches, with the presence of national actors and singers.
