At no point since tickets for the decisive Copa do Brasil match went on sale did anyone doubt that the Maracanã would be packed. When the team needs support, the nation is always there, ready to lend a helping hand, guiding Flamengo to victory. This Thursday (November 21.11), six days before the match against Atlético-PR, the passionate and confident Flamengo fans sold out all the tickets that had been put on sale.
The nation's excitement grew even more after the positive result in Curitiba. Amaral's goal in the 1-1 draw at Vila Capanema gave Flamengo the advantage of being crowned champions with a 0-0 draw at Maracanã. After the game, the few remaining tickets were quickly snapped up.
Now, the nation can only wait for the day of the big decision. Time seems to pass more slowly, and the anticipation for next Wednesday (November 27.11) only grows.
