During Carnival, Flamengo held three balls for all ages. At the club's official event, the "Red and Black" ball, Ronaldinho Gaúcho was elected king while actress Christiane Fernandes was queen. For the senior citizens, the "Vai'Idade" ball was held at the Gávea headquarters. The elected kings were Acyr Magalhães and José Castro. For the children, the "Little Red and Black Ball" was held, which also had royalty: Nina and Felipe.
