The Novos Talentos project's swimming festival will bring together students and their families at the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo water park.

The 10th Novos Talentos Project Swimming Festival will take place next Saturday, the 9th, starting at 600 a.m. More than XNUMX students (residents of Rocinha, Vidigal, Cruzada, and Chácara do Céu) will participate in the swimming event. On that day, Flamengo will open its doors so that family and friends of the students can enjoy the event and witness the students' learning. All students/athletes will receive medals from Flamengo swimmer Mariana Brochado. Other swimmers from the club are also expected.

The Novos Talentos project is a partnership between Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and Instituto Novos Talentos. It has been operating since 2003, offering swimming lessons to approximately 600 public school students. Classes are held twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays or Wednesdays and Fridays) at the club's Aquatic Park. The project is free and provides all necessary equipment, including swimsuits, trunks, swimming caps, boards, and floats.

Students/athletes who excel in the project's activities are referred to Flamengo's aquatics teams. This is the case with 11-year-old Lorena, who is already a member of Flamengo's youth team.
