A star on the field during his playing days, Adílio is also a role model off the field today. Last Thursday (October 24.10), the idol won the 10 Business Highlight award from the G2013 Group in the Sports Leadership category. The award came thanks to his work reintegrating former soccer players into society.

Adílio is the president of the Flamengo Former Football Players Association, founded in 2012. "We open soccer schools and teach at clubs, when possible, to provide work for former players. They all undergo training to ensure they are ready to work. We have a certain amount of knowledge and we never stop studying," said the idol, who made a point of highlighting the support he receives from various departments of the Flamengo Regatas Club, especially Marketing.

Currently, the Flamengo Association of Former Football Players has 186 members. "The club cannot support any former player, but through the Association, we provide work for those who have played for the club and need a legal path to follow. Together with Flamengo, we intend to train more and more former players," said Adílio, who is also one of the founders of the Rio de Janeiro State Association of Former Football Players.

Another project that Adílio is leading within the club, alongside Júlio César Uri Geller, is Fla Master, a team made up of great former Flamengo players, which holds friendlies and presentations across the country.

"Fla Master is very pleased with the support we receive within the club. Everyone is working hard and encouraging us. We at Fla Master always strive to improve the quality of the work we do here at Flamengo," said Adílio.
