Meeting today at General Severiano, lawyers from Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense, and Vasco began discussing a series of important issues for Rio de Janeiro football.

This is the first time that the clubs' legal departments have met and Bebeto de Freitas, President of Botafogo, made a point of welcoming them personally.

The idea is that from now on there will be a monthly meeting.

The clubs wish to discuss jointly with the Public Prosecutor's Office the possibility of signing a TAC establishing a common policy in relation to fans, especially organized fans.

Furthermore, they dealt with common contractual issues, such as the retention of amounts by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation from match revenues and revenue from the state championship broadcast contract.

Legislative issues such as half-price tickets, free tickets and taxes were also discussed.

The meeting was attended by lawyers Aníbal Rouxinol Segundo and Joana Prado de Oliveira, representing Botafogo, Carolina Valles, Carlos Alberto Lemos Junior, Ercio Braga, and Pedro Trengrouse, representing Flamengo, Roberta Fernandes, representing Fluminense, and Luiz Américo Chaves, representing Vasco.
