Flamengo's Deliberative Council held a Solemn Session last Thursday (22.11) in the Gávea noble hall and paid tribute to many Flamengo fans. Members, athletes, former athletes, employees and personalities, who provided or provide important services to Rubro-Negro, were remembered in the ceremony.

Always attentive to the club's important social events, president Patricia Amorim emphasized how crucial it is to be close to the board members, regardless of the club's current situation.

"It's very important to meet with the board members, regardless of the club's current situation. I thank everyone, especially my vice-president, Helio Ferraz, a pioneering figure who was the first to believe in our project and had the humility, after being president, to accept becoming our vice-president. Today, three years later, we feel a sense of accomplishment. We will leave Flamengo in a better state than we found it. As president, I make a point of attending events like this, where we honor those who dedicated themselves to Flamengo," said Patricia Amorim.

More than 200 people were honored with the titles of Grand Benefactor, Benefactor, Emeritus, Redeemed and Honorary Member.

One of the most exciting moments of the celebration was the graduation of athlete Breno Viola de Azevedo Cunha, the first judoka in history with Down syndrome to receive the title of Emeritus. 

Author João Emanuel Carneiro, presenter Galvão Bueno and director of the program "Zorra Total", Mauricio Sherman also received the title of Honorary Member.
