Students from the Fla Schools celebrate in Gávea
Event brought together boys from all over Brazil last weekend

Last weekend, Gávea Stadium, Flamengo's headquarters, hosted the first edition of the Copa Fla Brasil, which brought together franchises from Escolinhas Fla from across the country and featured competitions in four categories: under-11, under-13, under-15 and under-17.
After the thrilling matches, the teams from Goiânia (U11), Boa Vista (U13), Lagoa (U15), and Copacabana (U17) were crowned winners. But in addition to the winners, all the children and teenagers in attendance received gifts. Some received official merchandise, raffled off during the event. All, no doubt, were treated to the 1981 World Cup and Libertadores Cup trophies, as well as the 2009 Hexacampeonato.
