Deliberative Council approves the 2006 Accounts by absolute majority

In a meeting held in a calm atmosphere and with speeches considered to be of a high level, the absolute majority of those present at last night's meeting approved the Board of Directors' accounts for the year 2006. There were 153 (61%) votes in favor and 99 (39%) against.

All former elected presidents who completed their terms (André Richer, George Helal, Gilberto Cardoso Filho, Luiz Augusto Veloso, Kleber Leite and Helio Paulo Ferraz) voted in favor, recognizing Flamengo's good prospects for 2008.
