Relentless action against piracy
Thousands of products are seized; the club has no expenses with the actions

Piracy is a serious problem that severely impacts Brazilian sports. To prevent financial losses and set an example for other sports institutions, Flamengo's Legal Department has decided to vehemently combat this pernicious practice.
To manage the operations, the club's Legal Department hired an outsourced firm. Importantly, this was done free of charge, and the results are already impressive.
In total, more than 20 search and seizure operations have been carried out in eight Brazilian cities. Thousands of counterfeit products have been seized, and nine people have been arrested.
Flamengo also helped fine 36 companies selling illegal products and trained 45 public officials. By the end of the year, the results of the fight against piracy will be even more significant.

On September 26, Meirelles Advogados Associados seized thousands of pirated products bearing the "Clube de Regatas Flamengo" brand.
The operation took place at a factory in São Paulo, SP, which was responsible for distributing graphic materials nationwide. The measure was carried out by court order and enforced by court officers and members of Meirelles Advogados.
5.300 (five thousand three hundred) pocket calendars were seized, in addition to 61 (sixty-one) catalogs of fake products.
The seized products are in the possession of the Club's representatives, and those responsible for the illegal acts have been ordered to cease the production and sale of pirated items, under penalty of a daily fine.
