Everyone knows that Flamengo fans are spread across the globe. But at the end of this season, the club's official website decided to detail its users' origins, and interesting data emerged. Currently, the club's website receives visitors from six continents, more precisely from 187 different countries. Unimaginable countries, such as Mongolia, Laos, Fiji, the Faroe Islands, Cambodia, Turkmenistan, and others.

In Brazil, obviously, most accesses are concentrated and in the general ranking by city, only two municipalities in Rio de Janeiro are among the top 10. Rio de Janeiro, the capital, is first in the table, with 27,42% of accesses, followed by Brasília, with 6,34%. Then come São Paulo (6,18%), Belo Horizonte (4,75%), Salvador (3,43%), Fortaleza (2,72%), Vitória (2,24%), Goiânia (2,20%), Nova Iguaçu/RJ (1,97%) and Curitiba (1,66%).

The first foreign city to appear is Lisbon, in 78th place, with 0,09% of visits. After the Portuguese capital, the North American metropolis New York appears in 93rd place, with 0,07%. From there, London appears in 107th place, with 0,06%; Buenos Aires in 110th place, with 0,06%; Paris in 124th place, with 0,05%; Porto, also in Portugal, in 139th place, with 0,04%; Rome in 146th place, with 0,04%; Milan in 156th place, with 0,03%; Istanbul, Turkey, in 159th place, with 0,03%; and Los Angeles in 164th place, with 0,03%.

Always thinking about bringing fans closer to the club's day-to-day life, not just professional football, the Official Website will continue to improve its services in 2011.

"We know that Flamengo's fan base is immense and spread across the globe. But even so, it's surprising to see so many countries accessing our content. We're happy about this, and it even encourages us to work harder. The Official Website needs to be a solid bridge between the club's day-to-day life and the fans, wherever they are. And we're definitely building this relationship. Next year, we hope to have more services for Flamengo fans and improve the existing ones," said Felipe Costa Barros, manager of Flamengo's Official Website.

The busiest days in 2010
During 2010, with many new features, such as a promotions section and increased attention to club news, Flamengo's Official Website recorded five peak days in traffic. And these days have one thing in common: exclusive content, truly geared toward passionate fans.

In first place is August 19th, when the official website announced the signings of forwards Deivid and Diogo, in addition to publishing exclusive interviews with the players. Next comes another signing. August 4th, when midfielder Renato Abreu was introduced, ranks second. In third place is October 4th, when coach Silas' departure from the professional football team was announced, followed by April 23rd, when changes in the Football Department were announced, and October 5th, when the agreement with coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo was announced.
