Ballack visits Fla Mangueira School

The former player's presence delights students, who ask for photos and autographs.

August 30th was a historic day for many students at Escolinha Fla Mangueira. They had the honor of welcoming former player Michael Ballack, one of the greats of German football, to the school's facilities in Morro da Mangueira, Rio de Janeiro.

Ballack played for big clubs like Chelsea and Bayern Munich, and represented his national team at the 2002 and 2006 World Cups. The former player took many photos and signed autographs with those in attendance.

The Flamengo Football School is a project supported by Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and managed by Time Marketing Esportivo. It was created to promote the brand of the most beloved club and bring a sports and leisure environment to communities. Today, there are numerous units spread across 17 Brazilian states.
