Flamengo members can now celebrate another improvement at their Gávea headquarters. All five bars and the club's restaurant have undergone upgrades. The "Most Beloved in Gávea" was the last to be delivered, but renovations to the bar and restaurant were completed this month.
The renovations were a requirement made by President Patricia Amorim when the partnership with AMBEV began. Renovations began late last year, and now Gávea has fully equipped pool bars, a promenade, tennis courts, and saunas.
The restaurant “O Mais Querido da Gávea”, much frequented by members and athletes, received special treatment and greatly pleased gymnast Priscila Cobello.
"The restaurant is now more spacious and organized, and I really like it. It was a renovation that needed to be done, as many athletes go to the restaurant every day," said the athlete.
"The renovations were requested by the president and were very well executed. The improvements were very well received by members who frequent the bars and restaurant both weekdays and weekends with their families," said Cacau Cotta, vice president of administration and Fla-Gávea.
“Another request from the partner, which was to renew the menus, is also being negotiated and will be met soon,” Cacau said.
