The Flamengo Bible was launched a week ago by author Luís Miguel Pereira, at an event attended by Flamengo's greatest idol, Zico, who also wrote the foreword, and has already become a bestseller. According to Aldedina Brasil and Prime Books, the distributor and publisher, the first edition is practically sold out.
But Flamengo fans needn't fear. Aware that the Flamengo Bible is a "must-have" for all fans, the companies guarantee that there will be no shortage of books for fans to buy, either for themselves or as gifts for loved ones.
The Flamengo Bible tells, through short texts, the winning history of Brazil's biggest club. And the author hasn't forgotten a single episode of the Flamengo biography, which turned 115 in 2010.
