Flamengo started the season with a different uniform. While the jersey sponsorship has not been formally defined—the memorandum of understanding with Batavo, signed on December 31st by then-president Marcio Braga, needs to be transformed into a draft contract so the document can be submitted for approval by the club's board of directors—Flamengo players have been wearing the jersey from the club's official loyalty program, Cidadão Rubro-Negro.
Some fans have expressed interest in owning a copy of the jersey. However, the jersey, produced by Olympikus, is not and will not be available at points of sale. "The jersey worn by the players is exclusive to the Cidadão Rubro-Negro program. Anyone, whether in the gold, silver, or bronze category, who accumulates 15.000 Fla Vermelhos (one of the program's points "currencies," which can be exchanged for tangible goods), can request a copy of the jersey," explains Paula Portinho, project manager, managed by the Golden Goal agency.
The Red-Black Citizen program offers three membership categories and an exclusive package of perks and benefits to participants. Even those who pay nothing monthly can participate and accumulate points. Gold Citizens automatically accumulate 15.000 FlaVermelhos and can request the jersey, available in black and red. Silver or Bronze Citizens must accumulate points.
When registering, you must choose one of the three participation categories: Gold (with an annual fee of R$396, which can be paid in 12 installments on your card), Silver (with an annual fee of R$96,00, which can be paid in 12 installments on your card) and Bronze (free access).
