President Patricia Amorim was at the Hemo-Rio headquarters in downtown Rio this Monday to participate in the first day of donations for the second edition of the National Blood Campaign, held in partnership with Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and the Cidadão Rubro Negro program, with the support of the Ministry of Health.

The club's professional basketball player, center Wagner, coach Paulo Chupeta, and water polo player Fernanda Alves Fragoso also attended. Before donating blood, Patricia answered a questionnaire and then underwent tests to assess her ability to donate. Once approved, the president headed to the collection room.

"I'm very happy because I was informed that with this blood bag I'll be saving the lives of three people. I'm sure our fans will also join this campaign. Blood banks are depleted and in need of donations. I've already done my part, and tonight I'll sleep with a sense of duty accomplished. Come on, this is a gesture of love for life, and we Flamengo fans can't be left out," said Patricia.

At HemoRio, the donation drive in Rio de Janeiro on January 29th, the Club's official mascots will be present, and it will also be possible to register for the Cidadão Rubro-Negro project. The Embassies of the Nation, the Club's official representatives in various parts of the country, are also key players in the campaign.
