The red-black campaign for rain victims is going from strength to strength

Rubro-negro mobilized to collect donations at its headquarters in Gávea

The campaign launched last Friday (09.04) by Flamengo is going very well. The Rubro-negro is collecting donations for the victims of the rain in Rio de Janeiro and Flamengo fans are proving that they do, indeed, make a difference. Boxes and boxes have already been filled with donations and will be sent to the capital and the municipalities of Maricá and Niterói.

Anyone who wants to collaborate can simply send their donation to the collection point located on the first floor of Flamengo's headquarters, opposite the Fla Concept store.

On Monday (12.04), even more donations were delivered to the club, especially to the NGO Associação Saúde Criança. The organization delivered a van full of non-perishable food items to the club.

"Our job is to help people. We receive many donations of non-perishable food, as we donate a basic food basket per month to the children we serve. Since we had a lot of food and heard about Flamengo's campaign, we decided to send it to the club," said Karla Natal, the NGO's communications coordinator.

Among Flamengo employees, who see how successful the campaign is every day, the mood is one of satisfaction.

"It's very gratifying to know that we're doing work that will help other people. This situation could have happened to any of us," said Mônica Silva, a general services employee at Rubro-negro.
