This Friday (09.08), one of the greatest names in Flamengo's history turns 62. He is former midfielder Lico. The star has always stood out for his beautiful football and was one of the main names of that red-and-black team that enchanted the world in the 80s. With the Sacred Mantle, his main title was the 1981 World Cup.

Lico also played a role in the Copa Libertadores (1981) and the Brazilian Championships in 1982 and 1983, among other titles, as you can see below. One of his most memorable matches, however, wasn't a championship final, but rather a revenge match. In 1981, Flamengo thrashed Botafogo 6-0, avenging the same defeat they suffered in the 70s. One of the six goals was scored by today's birthday boy.

4 - He did not play in the Libertadores final in Montevideo, in the last game, as he had been cowardly attacked in the 2nd game of the finals, by defender Mario Soto, from Cobreloa.
