After nearly two months of restoration, Field 1 at the George Helal Training Center is now available to Flamengo's football department. On February 23rd, when work began, the field was scorched and weather-worn. Today, with the turf in perfect condition, coach Jorginho now has three training pitch options.

According to market estimates, a renovation of this size would cost around R$150. However, by using its own resources, Flamengo reduced the overall cost of the work, generating savings of around R$100.
