Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and Sport Club Corinthians Paulista regret to inform that the friendly match scheduled for September 15th at the Príncipe Faissal Stadium in Al-Ram, Palestine will not take place.

The clubs recognize the importance of this event for the region and congratulate the Federal Government for the initiative, in particular Minister Vera Cintia Alvarez for the enthusiasm, dedication and commitment with which she addressed the issue.

Unfortunately, for reasons beyond the control of the teams, it will not be possible to hold the match on the scheduled date, as, despite all the efforts of the parties involved, not all the necessary conditions were met in time.

The clubs reaffirm their willingness to serve the country as instruments of its international policy, especially in promoting peace.
