Mr. Marcio Baroukel de Souza Braga MD President of the Board of Directors of Flamengo Regatta Club

Dear President:

Like our illustrious friend and President, we were also elected to, through the powers we represent here, undertake our best efforts to realize the dreams of our immense Red-Black Nation.

Therefore, as President, please represent to the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro our absolute determination and support in defending the Gávea Revitalization project, as undoubtedly expressed in the most diverse media, by the vast majority of fans.

The same applies to Maracanã, which, traditionally, is the grand stage that bears witness to our most varied and glorious achievements, economically and morally justifies the participation of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo in its future and indispensable transformations that lie ahead.

Therefore, reconciling Maracanã and Gávea is our task and that of the Government. We are certain that under your leadership and that of Governor Sérgio Cabral, this legitimate goal will be achieved without sacrificing our home, Gávea, or devaluing the significant importance of Maracanã.

We will be united with good faith and intelligence in the service of reconciling these clear objectives, State and Flamengo, even because, and above all, this is what we will be required and charged by our enormous Nation, the Red-Black Nation.
