Ibson lives in uncertainty about his future, but he doesn't forget his love for Flamengo.

The threat of a long suspension was over with the acquittal by the Superior Court of Justice (STJD) last Monday. Now released, Diego Tardelli is only thinking about reuniting with his São Paulo, scheduled for Saturday, at 16:10 p.m., at Maracanã. The striker of Flamengo did not adopt the political discourse common to such situations. \ Upset by the way he was treated at the club that revealed him, Tardelli said this Tuesday morning that he has an ideal way to respond. \
"I want to play well, but I think scoring a goal is the most important thing because it has a different flavor. I'll celebrate, but in a normal way. Diego Tardelli is looking forward to facing São Paulo this Sunday at Maracanã. The striker, who was born and raised at the São Paulo club, left through the back door. He was underused, and for that reason, his release to Flamengo was not a problem. He showed enthusiasm for scoring against the opponent.
"I really want to score a goal against São Paulo. We'll see if I can make a special celebration," he said thoughtfully.
Regarding the lack of space in the São Paulo Tricolor, Tardelli says he still doesn't know why he hasn't had opportunities to establish himself.
- Why haven't I been valued yet? I hope to show them my worth.
He also spoke about his acquittal at Monday's trial. The eventual punishment would have left him out of the match.
- I knew I could miss this game, but I'm glad I was acquitted. This match is very important to me.

Last year's match against São Paulo at Maracanã is considered a milestone in Flamengo's run in the Brazilian Championship and on the way to the Libertadores. One of the players responsible for the 1-0 victory was Ibson, who scored the goal. For the midfielder, the story of this Saturday's duel is different.
"I don't see this game the same way as last year's. In 2007, we were in an awkward position, fighting relegation, and São Paulo was leading the competition," Ibson recalled.
Even so, Ibson hopes to repeat what happened after the victory over the opponent: increasing the fans' confidence so they can show up in large numbers at Maracanã in the next round of the Brazilian Championship:

Flamengo's strong performance against Figueirense left coach Caio Júnior doubly satisfied. Besides the victory, the strong performance on Saturday by players who hadn't been playing filled the Flamengo manager with hope. He believes the competition for a spot on the team will be intense.
"Maxi showed his worth, Kleberson was excellent, and Obina once again came on well and contributed to a goal. Anyone who makes a mistake could lose ground for a while. More players could show up," the coach prophesied.
Another person who earned Caio Junior's praise was Éder. The young striker had been overlooked before the coach's arrival, and against Figueirense, he had more time to show his worth on the field.

São Paulo is the current two-time Brazilian champion and has consistently competed for titles in recent years. And despite the Tricolor Paulista's current form not being the best, Flamengo left-back Juan says a victory over a team he considers a direct rival for the title is crucial.
"Everyone knows that São Paulo wants to fight for the Brazilian title, and we do too. That's why I think it's important for Flamengo to take these points away from them," explained the Flamengo full-back.
Coach Caio Junior himself agreed with the full-back's opinion and highly praised the opposing coach.
"São Paulo is under some pressure, but they're coming off a win. They're a well-organized team. Muricy, along with Luxemburgo, is one of the best coaches in Brazil. It's a direct confrontation, and we have to go for the win," Caio added.
Juan also spoke about his relationship with Flamengo's manager. The player was full of praise for the coach, who arrived after the tough elimination from the Copa Libertadores.
"Caio knows the game well, he reads it well. And he also knows how to motivate and encourage our group," the full-back concluded.

The full-back has less freedom than with Joel, but he doesn't complain.

Juan is having to adapt to a new style of play. With the arrival of Caio Júnior, the full-back has been given defensive responsibilities and doesn't have as much freedom to attack as he did under Joel Santana. But Juan doesn't mind being more closely guarded when necessary.
"My positioning has changed, yes. With Caio, when Léo Moura goes forward, I stay a little further back, and vice versa. I certainly had more freedom to attack with Joel, but I don't see any problems with this new role," Juan stated.
Under Caio Júnior's command in this Brasileirão, Juan has already scored a goal, against Santos in the debut, and suffered a penalty, against Fluminense.
