Gávea in moments of decision
Bruno says he's staying; Fla goes to São Paulo to try to get Dinélson and Ney rejects Pet
Photo caption: BRUNO: GOALKEEPER strives to stay at Fla for another three years
After a rout like Sunday's against Figueirense, Flamengo began experiencing unusual moments. For coach Ney Franco, it's time to rethink his thinking. Supported by the football leadership, Ney gave the players a general scolding, criticizing their lack of commitment on Sunday, and demanded a new approach against Inter. Those who were letting things slide to see what the future would hold, like goalkeeper Bruno, accused of making mistakes in the 4-0 victory, reinforced the call for rapprochement.
For the club's directors, the time is ripe for reinforcements. This is the case with Dinélson. Vice-president of football Kleber Leite is heading to São Paulo today, authorized by president Márcio Braga to close the deal on terms that don't compromise the club's scarce resources, to try to reach an agreement with Corinthians' board.
For the opportunists on duty, another opportunity to try to close a deal. Repeating the move from the end of last year, when his star player was unemployed, Petkovic's agent returned to the fray, offering the Serbian, who recently terminated his contract with Goiás. An offer rejected by Ney Franco.
"Petkovic is a wild card. He doesn't have the player profile Flamengo needs. I suggested a few names, one of which was striker Reinaldo (formerly of Flamengo). But he signed with a team in Japan," says Ney Franco, who also turned down offers like midfielder Roger (formerly of Flu and Corinthians).
In Bruno's case, yesterday morning, one day after recovering from a sleepless night following the rout, he was smiling. He warned that he intended to resolve his fate soon, without waiting for MSI's decision, the only company with the power to make the final decision.
"I didn't want to get involved, but I want to put an end to this case because it's becoming a soap opera. I've given MSI too much time to decide, and they haven't. Now, I'll decide: I'm staying," Bruno said.
The speech may impress Flamengo fans, but it doesn't change the situation. In a meeting with agent Eduardo Uram hours later, Kleber said that negotiations had made some progress. But that everything depends on the transfer activity of European clubs. In other words: Bruno will stay at Flamengo if MSI can't find him at a major European club.
HIGH: Morales at 6.000m
Bolivian President Evo Morales is playing soccer at an altitude of 6.000 meters on Mount Sajama, part of the Andes Mountains, as part of his campaign to get FIFA to review its decision to ban official soccer matches in cities over 2.500 meters above sea level. Morales will propose to the leaders of Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and Chile, during the Andean Community meeting starting tomorrow in the Bolivian city of Tarija, that they issue a joint statement opposing the governing body's ban on high-altitude matches.

Contract renewal irritates Bruno, who promises to resolve the matter with Kleber Leite

Dissatisfaction — Bruno says he is tired of the back and forth between the club and MSI, the fund that holds his rights to secure his stay at Gávea
After a season of ups and downs, Flamengo is now facing a crucial week to retain its key players. The situation that worries them most is that of goalkeeper Bruno, one of the team's stars, which should be decided in the coming days. The player said yesterday that he's fed up with the endless drama surrounding his contract renewal. He intends to resolve the matter his own way.
"This delay isn't bothering me, but to put an end to this matter, I'll meet with Kleber Leite (vice president of football) as soon as possible to resolve this. I've already given MSI too much time, and so far they haven't resolved anything, so I'll do it my way. I don't want to miss the opportunity to continue playing for the club with the biggest fan base in Brazil," the player stated.
Shortly after speaking to the press, Bruno had a meeting with the club's leading figure, where he expressed his desire to stay. After nearly an hour of conversation, nothing was decided, and the saga continues. Later, Kleber Leite had lunch with the player's agent, Eduardo Uram, to submit a new proposal to the MSI.
"I met with Uram and made a new proposal to the foreign investors who hold Bruno's federation rights. He promised to present our offer, and we should have news within three or four days," the director said.
Coach Ney Franco expressed concern about Bruno's potential transfer. "I'm worried about losing him, especially because if a major European club makes an offer, we'll have a hard time keeping him. We have to hope to keep our key players," the coach explained.
If Bruno goes to Europe, Ney Franco will have to rely on backup Diego, who was once a starter but lost his place in August of last year to Bruno himself. In addition to Diego, the coach also has Marcelo Lomba, the team's third reserve.
Another situation that's far from a positive outcome is that of midfielder Renato, who has yet to receive a renewal offer from Rubro-Negro. Kleber Leite is waiting for the player's agent, Cláudio Guadagno, to arrive in Rio de Janeiro to present an offer.
Renato returns to training in Gávea
Midfielder Renato is expected to return to training with the Flamengo squad this Wednesday afternoon. After intense weight training on Tuesday, which will continue this Wednesday morning, the player is expected to be reinstated to the team for the afternoon training session. Defender Irineu, who missed the last game against Figueirense due to an injury, has recovered and has been cleared by the medical department for the match against Internacional.
The red-black revelation of 200 goals

A product of Gávea, the striker supported Fluminense because of his father's influence. Saturday, against Internacional, he will be available for Ney Franco.
A new prospect is emerging at Gávea. After Renato Augusto and Paulo Sérgio, a new striker may soon get his chance. Kaike, this year's Rio de Janeiro junior champion, is expected to be on the bench for the first time this season in next Saturday's match against Internacional. Last year, in the final round of the Brazilian Championship, when Flamengo faced São Caetano, he also sat on the bench. Now, the expectation of playing is high.
"I've been training hard to get this opportunity. I'm rooting for this chance and to live up to the hype. Coming into this difficult time might even be better for me, as I'm used to the pressure of defending a team like Flamengo," said the striker, who has been with the Rubro-Negro since 1998.
Kaike has a history of approximately 200 goals in the youth divisions, but even so, he said he prefers to play as a second striker. Now 19, the player admitted that when he was younger, he supported one of Flamengo's biggest rivals, Fluminense.
"That was only until I was six, influenced by my father, who is a Tricolor fan. After that, I became a Flamengo fan," the player explained.
Since coach Ney Franco will only have three attackers available for the next match, it's very likely that Kaike will have a chance to come on in the second half. Another option the coach has is to field Léo Lima, paired with Leonardo. This would leave Kaike as the second option to come on, after Paulo Sérgio.
Ney demands action from Flamengo players
As coach Ney Franco aptly summarized in yesterday morning's training session, this week for Flamengo will be a "week to review concepts." And this review encompasses everything from the team's on-field approach to the signing of players for the Brazilian Championship.
Yesterday, Ney Franco spoke about the possibility of reinforcements and, while admitting that Flamengo needs to sign a playmaker to organize the midfield, he stated that he had not received any information regarding the possible signing of midfielder Roger. However, he admitted to suggesting the signing of striker Reinaldo, formerly of Flamengo and Santos. The problem is that the player renewed his contract with Kashima Reysol in Japan and is no longer in the board's plans.
"Every time a player is offered to me, but nothing is certain yet. I can't even talk about Roger because he hasn't reached me. The player I had recommended was striker Reinaldo, but he returned to Japan," he explained.
Furthermore, the coach was emphatic when talking about the best way for the club to overcome the bad atmosphere that took over Gávea after the humiliating 4-0 defeat to Figueirense, at the Orlando Scarpelli Stadium: "The only way out of this situation is victory. We have three home games and we need to win," said Ney Franco, who met for about ten minutes with the players in the football department to demand more attitude from them during the games.
Fla misses Renato Augusto
Saturday's match against Internacional will be crucial for Flamengo's quest to rebuild in this Brazilian Championship. However, the team will enter the field without one of its key players, midfielder Renato Augusto, who was called up for the U-20 World Cup. On the other hand, Internacional will also suffer from the absence of striker Alexandre Pato, also called up for the competition. After yesterday's training session, defensive midfielder Claiton commented on the situation and, while admitting that both teams will be affected by their absences, stated that whoever replaces them will have to work hard to replace them.
"I think both clubs will lose, but I'm sure whoever gets in will want to take advantage of the opportunity," said the player, before addressing the absence of midfielder Renato Augusto. "We'll miss him so much, but he'll play in the World Cup he so desperately wanted," he added.
TRANSFER — Rio de Janeiro State Secretary of Sports and Tourism Eduardo Paes announced that the Flamengo vs. Juventude match, scheduled for June 28, will not be played at Maracanã due to construction work for the Pan American Games. The game will be moved to Raulino Oliveira Stadium in Volta Redonda.
Kleber Leite still dreams of Dinelson
Flamengo's vice president of football, Kleber Leite, is still confident in signing midfielder Dinelson. What excites him is president Marcio Braga's friendship with Alberto Dualib. The Corinthians president is in Europe and is due to return to Brazil two weeks ago.
"Márcio Braga is a friend of Dualib and promised to intercede, but the problem is knowing where the president of Corinthians is, which no one knows. We want to meet with him to find out how to resolve this," he said in an interview with Rádio Globo.
As there are still almost two months left until the end of registration for the Brazilian Championship, the director is apparently calm.
"We have a month and a half, and new things will certainly happen. We're mapping out and seeing what's possible. Something might happen, as it's a complicated month, with a lot of work," added Kleber Leite.
Young Kayke eager to make his professional debut at Fla
Over two hundred goals in the youth ranks. This is the record of 19-year-old Kayke, the new promising player in Flamengo's attack. He eagerly awaits an opportunity in Flamengo's professional team.
"I've been in the youth ranks for 10 years and I'm already accustomed to a lot of things here at the club. My integration into the professional team is going well, especially because I already know the players," commented the striker.

Bruno apologizes for the silence at the airport and says he wants to stay at Flamengo
Player loses patience with MSI and may renew his contract with the Gávea team
Rio - On Tuesday morning, goalkeeper Bruno decided to give interviews. He apologized for the silence during the delegation's arrival at Tom Jobim Airport and said he wants to resolve his situation quickly and stay at Flamengo. "I wanted you (the press) to understand that this wasn't the right time to give an interview," the player stated.
According to him, the MSI group, which owns his rights, has had plenty of time to resolve the situation. "I've given them too much time. Now I have to let things happen my way. Flamengo is open-armed, made a great offer, and I want to stay. I'll talk to Kléber Leite and resolve this situation as quickly as possible."
Flamengo made an excellent offer to Bruno, doubling the athlete's salary, whose contract runs until June 30th.
Flamengo wants to buy part of Bruno's transfer fee
Kléber Leite stated that he has already started talks to keep the player at Gávea
Rio - According to Flamengo's vice president of football, Kléber Leite, the club has already begun talks to finalize the issue of goalkeeper Bruno's contract renewal. In an interview with Rádio Globo, the director stated that he has reformulated the proposal so that the player can remain at Gávea.
"Our goal is to be able to buy part of his transfer fee. However, the decision to do so has to come from MSI, which is the one that truly has power over Bruno. I've already spoken with him, and I know it's difficult for him to have no idea where he'll play in the future, but we're making moves," Kléber Leite emphasized.
Furthermore, he reported that he has no news about the signing of midfielder Dinélson, from Corinthians.
Petkovic is offered to Flamengo
Rio - Serbian Petkovic has been offered a contract to Flamengo's board. However, coach Ney Franco has shown no interest in signing the player. According to Rádio Brasil, Josias Cardoso, the player's agent, is waiting for a call from the club's vice president of football, Kléber Leite.
Ney Franco isn't even considering signing Pet. "He was offered, but he's not on the negotiation table," the coach said. The Serbian was once a fan favorite, scoring the winning goal from a free kick in the club's third Rio de Janeiro championship (2001).
Ney Franco meets with Kléber Leite for over an hour
Rio - Coach Ney Franco met for over an hour with Flamengo's vice president of football, Kléber Leite, to discuss the team's new direction in the Brasileirão. "It's a time for demands. We talked, and each person shared their perspective. The goal is one: to put Flamengo in a better position. Everyone has to pull in the same direction," said the coach.
According to Ney, Flamengo is considering signing players, but doesn't want to lose any players. "We have to hope the European market doesn't take any players from our team."

Flamengo aims to keep key players\ Gazeta Press\
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - After training on Tuesday, coach Ney Franco admitted that Flamengo's priority is to retain its top stars for the remainder of the Brazilian Championship. The coach, however, confirmed that he has asked the board to make some signings. One of the names considered was striker Reinaldo, currently in Japan, but negotiations failed. "We first need to ensure that the European market doesn't take away players who are here. Of course, as Flamengo's coach, I've already passed on some names to the board, and it's up to them to pass them on to you," the coach commented.
While Flamengo failed with Reinaldo, the situation is different with Petkovic. The Serbian, who recently left Goiás, was rejected by Ney Franco.
"This player was actually offered to us, but he's not on our agenda," said Ney, who met with the board and then the Flamengo squad this Tuesday morning. "It's a time for pressure. The board spoke with us, the coaching staff spoke with the players, but all with the sole objective of putting Flamengo in a better position in the Brazilian Championship. It's not normal for Flamengo to leave the field with a 4-0 loss. Let's work on it."
This Tuesday morning, Flamengo began selling tickets for Saturday's game against Internacional. Despite the Rio de Janeiro team's poor showing in the Brazilian Championship, a good turnout is expected, as the game is part of a promotion funded by a food company.
Renato denies proposals to leave Flamengo\ Gazeta Press\
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - Besides goalkeeper Bruno, midfielder Renato is also irritated by rumors that he's leaving Flamengo. Through his press office, the player denied that he sat out the last match to negotiate a transfer. "It's absurd, and I regret that there are still professionals who don't respect other professionals. Above all, I dedicate myself to my profession, and even in games where we didn't have major objectives, I never wanted to be left out." "Like everyone who works in football, or any other activity, I deserve due respect. I have over 100 appearances for Flamengo and scored 41 goals. I made and still make a point of playing in every match. I tried everything to be able to play yesterday, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible. I would like to clarify that, the first moment there is an offer for me to leave Flamengo, a club where I feel very comfortable, the fans will be informed by me, not by third parties," stated the Flamengo midfielder.
On Tuesday, Renato Abreu trained lightly at Gávea and is expected to return to the team on Saturday against Internacional. Another player expected to return is defender Irineu, who has recovered from injury. Coach Ney Franco will begin forming the team at this Wednesday morning's training session at the Vargem Grande Training Center.
Bruno gets angry with MSI and says he will stay at Flamengo\ Gazeta Press\
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - Criticized by some Flamengo fans for his mistake in one of Figueirense's goals last weekend, goalkeeper Bruno refused to speak to the press upon his return to Rio de Janeiro. However, on Tuesday morning, the Flamengo player apologized to the press in Gávea. Bruno admitted that the team's poor performance in the Brazilian Championship has left much to be desired. "I want to apologize to everyone for my behavior at the airport. I wasn't in the right place or time to give interviews. We went to Florianópolis to get the three points, but unfortunately we didn't get them. The players are doing the work, but we need to be more assertive," he demanded.
During Tuesday's interview, Bruno admitted his dissatisfaction with MSI, which holds his economic rights. Tired of speculation about his transfer to European football, the goalkeeper stated that he will renew his contract with Flamengo, where he would receive approximately R$120 per month under the new contract.
"I've already given them too much time to think, for MSI to make a decision. Since nothing has been finalized, let me decide my own way. There have been inquiries, but as far as official offers go, only Flamengo. I won't let this opportunity pass me by. I play for the club with the biggest fan base in Brazil, and I'll stay here," he said.

Fla: looking for a brain
Ney Franco chooses strengthening the Flamengo squad as a priority\ Eduardo Peixoto\
For coach Ney Franco, what Fla needs most is a connecting midfielder
Skilled players with good vision and available on the market should send their resumes to Gávea. Alternatively, ask their agent to contact Flamengo's board.
Amidst the team's numerous shortcomings, coach Ney Franco chose playmaking as the area most in need and most important.
- If I had to choose just one reinforcement, it would be a playmaker - declares the coach.
But where to get the red-and-black team's brains? The first name on the list was Dinelson. Although vice-president of football Kléber Leite still entertains the possibility of signing him, it's more prudent to start considering another option.
Unable to turn to the foreign market until August 8th, when the international transfer window reopens, Flamengo is scrambling to be creative. It remains to be seen what rabbit Ney Franco will pull out of his hat next.
Renato Augusto's rise in two years
Player says he was unprepared in 2005. Now, even Liverpool is watching supporter\ Eduardo Peixoto\
What a difference! In 2005, Renato Augusto was much thinner. Now, he's ready to shine. But European pressure could drive him away from Gávea. Think quickly: what was Renato Augusto's debut match for Flamengo's professional team? If you answered the Copa do Brasil final against Vasco da Gama on July 19, 2006, you're wrong. But that's understandable.
Currently 19 years old, the red-black supporter had his first chance among the professionals on June 12, 2005. On that occasion, coach Celso Roth left him on the bench in the 4-2 defeat to Corinthians, in Mogi-Mirim.
In the second half, with Flamengo already losing the match, the coach replaced Leonardo Moura with Renato Augusto. He played right wing in his debut. Exactly two years later, he admits he was completely unprepared for the moment.
"I've never had a player as a starter in the youth team. It was a very rushed debut," the player declared.
He played one more game (against Atlético-PR) and returned to the youth team. He now thanks Celso Roth for his good sense.
"Celso realized I wasn't psychologically prepared. We talked, and I think it was best for me to return to the juniors and follow the natural path of things," says the player.
In the second half of 2005, Renato Augusto participated in the Copa Rio with the professional B team. He won. But his big breakthrough came in May of last year.
In a conversation with Kléber Leite, Flamengo's youth academy director, Moysés Saubel, spoke highly of the young prospect.
Kléber became excited and began observing the aspiring star more closely. He passed the information on to coach Ney Franco, and opportunities arose.
Liverpool watching
"I came back with much more confidence and immediately won the Copa do Brasil title," he says. The changes weren't just psychological. Physically, Renato Augusto has also improved. He's stronger and more prepared for the violence of his opponents.
In Ney Franco's current squad, he's considered an undisputed starter and has even scored a goal in a final (check out the video above). Only a call-up from the U-20 national team could remove him from the squad. Or perhaps European dollars. The list of interested clubs grows weekly.
Rennes, Manchester United, and Lyon have already expressed public interest. And more are on the way. Liverpool are keeping tabs on the player and are considering offering €15 million (R$39 million) for his signature.

Juan has dual nationality, which makes it easier to transfer to Europe
Flamengo better start cheering. Another of the club's players is on a European club's transfer list. This time, the potential target is left-back Juan. According to GLOBOESPORTE.COM, Barcelona's Espanyol has been watching the player for some time and may make an offer soon.
Juan's dual nationality is a detail that would facilitate his transfer to Spain. However, the Spanish club is also interested in an Argentine left-back, and the Brazilian would be their second option.
Juan's move to foreign football is nothing new. Between 2001 and 2003, he played for Arsenal and Milwall, both in England. The player's contract with Flamengo runs until the end of 2008.
In 2006, Espanyol brought midfielder Jônatas from Rubro-Negro shortly after winning the Copa do Brasil. This year, Europeans seem to have a stronger appetite for the Rubro-Negro squad. Renato Augusto and Bruno are also well-regarded for a move to another continent.
Maracanã will be closed earlier than planned
Two games were postponed: the classic between Fluminense x Botafogo and Flamengo x Juventude
Caio Barbosa
Sports and Tourism Secretary Eduardo Paes announced early Tuesday evening, during a rehearsal for the Pan-American Games opening ceremony, that the Maracanã stadium will be closed earlier than scheduled. The games between Flamengo and Juventude and Fluminense and Botafogo, scheduled for June 29 and 30, respectively, have been postponed and have no set date yet. Therefore, the last match before the Pan-American Games at the Maracanã stadium will be the Flamengo-Vasco derby on June 24.
The blue chairs section will also undergo two modifications. Part of the wall separating the chairs from the lawn will be replaced by a gate, through which many of the seven thousand people attending the festivities will pass. Opposite this gate, on the opposite side, a block of chairs will be removed to make way for the pedestal where the Olympic cauldron will be placed.
Ney: 'There is no witch hunt'
But Flamengo's coach confirms that he will change the scheme for Saturday\ Eduardo Peixoto\
Leo Medeiros (D) is well-regarded by coach Ney Franco
It wasn't until Tuesday that coach Ney Franco demonstrated in practice the changes he will make to the Flamengo team after the 4-0 rout by Figueirense last Sunday. For just over an hour, the players did physical training at Gávea.
Training sessions begin Wednesday morning at CT Ninho do Urubu. Changes will occur, that's a given. And the three-defender system will be the first to go.
- The tendency is to change, since it hasn't been working - declares the red-black coach.
The defense will likely consist of Ronaldo Angelim and Irineu, who has recovered from a thigh injury. Renato, who has a similar problem, returns to training this Wednesday, but will initially be fit to play.
Two players are expected to earn a chance in the first team: Leo Medeiros and Leo Lima. Despite the imminent changes, Ney denies any radical measures.
"There's no witch hunt. Everyone performed poorly in the last game. But obviously, the campaign isn't good, and I'll have to find a new formation," the coach declares.
Kléber makes an extra effort to stay with Bruno
Manager reformulates proposal to keep the goalkeeper at Flamengo for another year
Flamengo does not give up on renewing goalkeeper Bruno's contract
Flamengo's vice president of football, Kléber Leite, is doing everything he can to keep goalkeeper Bruno at Gávea. On Tuesday afternoon, the director had lunch with the player's agent, Eduardo Uram. A new contract renewal proposal was on the agenda.
"We met with Eduardo Uram, a representative of Kia Joorabchian and Pini Zahavi, and we've already reformulated the proposal. He's already submitted it and should be aware of what could happen," the executive told Rádio Globo.
The goalkeeper's contract with Flamengo runs until June 30th and Kléber wants to renew it with the athlete soon.
"We are waiting with the utmost urgency from the representatives, because it seems to me essential that Bruno has peace of mind. It must be difficult for him not knowing where he will be sleeping next month. He wants to stay, he has every desire, and we will wait," he states.
Flamengo would acquire part of the player's rights and guarantee his stay for another year. However, MSI's investors remain adamant and committed to negotiating Bruno's transfer to European football.
Fla says 'no thanks' to Petkovic
Player offered, but red-and-black club avoids. Ney recommends Reinaldo\Eduardo Peixoto\
Goiás Official Website
Petkovic was not successful at Goiás and Flamengo is not interested either.
Flamengo's search for reinforcements has roused the attention of its agents. Coach Ney Franco receives numerous calls daily with a wide range of offers. One of them was dismissed outright: midfielder Petkovic, who recently left Goiás and was recognized at Gávea for the goal that won the club their third state championship in 2001.
- This player was actually offered, but he is not on our agenda - says the coach.
But the concern for players who can improve the quality of the squad grows every day. On the list of potential signings he submitted to the board, coach Ney Franco included another player who participated in that 2001 triumph: forward Reinaldo, who came through Flamengo's ranks. However, the player is under contract with Kashiwa Reysol and is expected to remain there.
As the transfer window for players who are abroad only reopens on August 8th, the market is even more closed.
"We looked at a few names, but none of them were viable. But it's better to be patient than to use players who won't solve our problems," says the coach.

RODRIGO MANDARINI\ Goalkeeper Bruno is tired of the speculation about his future and is currently meeting with Flamengo's vice-president of football, Kléber Leite, to, according to him, renew his contract with Flamengo.\
"I've already given investors plenty of time to decide my future. I only received an official offer from Flamengo. Therefore, I'm the one who will make the decision. I'll talk to Kleber Leite and resolve it my way. I'm staying," the goalkeeper assured.
Bruno said that the delay in resolving the situation is not interfering with his performance, but revealed that he is bothered by everything that is happening.
"This is turning into a soap opera. Flamengo welcomed me with open arms; it's one of the biggest clubs in the world, and that's why I want to put an end to this soap opera," he said.
Bruno's contract with Flamengo ends on June 30th, and his federation rights belong to the MSI investment group. The goalkeeper has reportedly received inquiries from several European football clubs.

"It's time to demand pressure. We've spoken with the board and the players. All with the sole objective of putting the team in good shape in the Brazilian Championship. It's not normal for Flamengo to lose 4-0. Everyone has to pull in the same direction, and that's what we'll work on to face Internacional. Regardless of the strategy, we would have lost the game. Our opponents showed more composure and commitment. They came out more focused. Either way, we would have been overwhelmed," concluded the coach.
Bruno apologizes for irritation at the airport\ Goalkeeper says he hates conceding goals and returned from Florianópolis upset\
Rodrigo Mandarini\ Goalkeeper Bruno apologized to reporters for not giving interviews during the Flamengo delegation's arrival on Monday. During the interview, the goalkeeper even pushed the microphone away from a more insistent reporter.\
"I wanted to apologize to everyone for what happened at the airport. It wasn't the right time to say anything. I'm not like that, I didn't speak to anyone, and I apologize for what happened," the goalkeeper humbly admitted.
Bruno acknowledged that the irritation was the result of the poor result the day before, when Flamengo was beaten 4-0 by Figueirense.
"Unfortunately, the result didn't happen. They were superior. We were dejected and didn't expect a defeat like that. Conceding 13 goals in five games is bad. I hate conceding goals. It's very bad for the goalkeeper and the defense," Bruno said.
