On the shoulders of the fans on a Friday the 13th. A good omen for Roger, Flamengo's newest addition, a lightning-fast signing finalized in the early hours of the morning and announced yesterday afternoon. The new Flamengo idol candidate gained fame and star status at Fluminense, but he began to win the hearts of the approximately 20 Flamengo fans who attended his presentation by recalling his childhood days, when, from ages 11 to 14, he played at Gávea. Pointing to the numberless jersey on the table in the Rogério Steinberg auditorium, he fired off a shot to general delight.
"After 15 years, I'm regaining my self-esteem and joy. I started playing here when I was 11. Here, I learned to build my career, I learned to set goals for the good side of life. I'm back to being that boy who loved football. Other shirts are cloaks, but only Flamengo's is a sacred cloak," said Roger, receiving applause and leading the crowd in singing the Flamengo anthem.
Claiton is leaving; Christian from Atlético-PR is coming
The 29-year-old attacking midfielder was signed until the end of the year. If Flamengo wants to keep him permanently, they must notify Corinthians by the end of November and pay in December, in reais, an amount equivalent to US$500 at the then-exchange rate. With a thin beard and short hair, actress Deborah Secco's boyfriend was aware of his challenge:
"I know the pressure at Flamengo is intense, so I have to be 100%. The higher the quality, the greater the pressure. The important thing is that I'm happy, and with happiness, everything flows better."
Roger's connection to Flamengo is not without drama. His sister, Ursula, was part of the gymnastics team led by Georgette Vidor, who suffered a serious accident on the Via Dutra almost ten years ago:
"Kleber Leite (vice president of football) was the one who took care of it and supported us. When he invited me, I accepted immediately. I could have held an auction; every club in Brazil wanted me, but now I can choose where to play."
For coach Ney Franco, Roger is a great find to fill Renato's vacancy:
"He arrives at a special moment. His technical quality is undeniable, and Roger can help us close out 2007 strongly."
Today, Flamengo should complete the exchange of Claiton for Christian, from Atlético-PR.

Roger: 'Flamengo's mantle is sacred'
The club quickly signs and introduces supporter Roger, who claims to be a Flamengo fan.

Roger, presented at Gávea, dons the red-and-black jersey and pledges his love for the club. In the detail, a reproduction of the JS page announcing the signing.
As reported by JORNAL DOS SPORTS in its June 12 edition, midfielder Roger was introduced yesterday as Flamengo's newest signing for the Brazilian Championship. Although the negotiation took place in the early hours of Thursday, the player's name had already been discussed at Gávea and approved by coach Ney Franco.
The new development that allowed the athlete to be signed was the fact that his agent, Mauro Azevedo, had received a letter from Corinthians giving him permission to negotiate with him.
The player is on loan until the end of the year, but could be signed permanently if Flamengo shows interest in buying him by November 30th and pays Corinthians $500 by December 30th.
Upon learning he was finally released, the player contacted vice president of football Kleber Leite, who is a personal friend, and negotiations began. Roger agreed to a salary reduction and was able to fulfill what he claimed had been his childhood dream, having played for Flamengo from the ages of 11 to 14.
Roger fulfilled. "This is where I started my career. At Flamengo, I had all the support and training I needed. I accepted the first offer they made. Fortunately, today I'm financially fulfilled and can choose the club I'll play for with my heart," said the player, who, despite having come through the ranks at Fluminense, continued to praise the Rubro-Negro.
"I'm sure my friends and family are very proud that I came here. This is the true sacred robe; all other shirts are just robes," Roger gushed, his voice breaking.
And the supporter was very excited about the possibility of a fresh start that the club is giving him, in addition to making it clear that he knows the recipe for success at Flamengo well.
"I have to be 100% to play, so I can show my best, enter with a lot of determination, because that's what the red-and-black fans like," he said.
Kleber invests in Cristian, from Atlético-PR
In addition to Ibson and Roger, Flamengo is expected to sign another reinforcement in the coming days. The club intends to make a trade with Atlético-PR and bring in defensive midfielder Cristian. In return, Claiton will leave Gávea and play for the Paraná team in the Brazilian Championship. According to vice-president of football Kleber Leite, the club has already contacted the Atlético player, and he even reportedly skipped last Thursday's match against Vasco da Gama to avoid playing in his seventh league game, a fact that would prevent him from playing for another club throughout the competition.
The player, who plays in midfield as a first or second defensive midfielder, could be an important piece in the new midfield that Flamengo is forming. With an attacking trio of Roger, Renato Augusto, and Ibson, the team will need a player with greater marking ability. With Paulinho receiving inquiries from clubs abroad and may leave Gávea, Cristian could be the solution found by Flamengo's directors for this position.
For defensive midfielder Claiton, who was signed at the beginning of the year as one of Flamengo's key reinforcements for the Copa Libertadores and has been increasingly losing ground in the squad, the trade could be an opportunity to return to his strong performances, similar to those he had for Botafogo last year. Since arriving at Gávea, he has struggled to establish himself, and although he is considered a leader by the other players, he has not pleased the fans or the coaching staff.
Prosecutor says Paulinho will leave Fla
Midfielder Paulinho is increasingly distant from Gávea. A few days ago, rumors surfaced about a possible transfer to Israeli football. However, due to the lack of an offer from interested parties, vice president of football Kleber Leite ruled out the possibility of negotiating.
However, yesterday, the athlete's agent, Eduardo Uram, who recently negotiated Ibson's return to Gávea, revealed that a real offer for the player has already been made and that there is a good chance he will leave the club, as he would be willing to return to play abroad.
"There's a possibility of Paulinho going to Israeli football. The offer has been made. He wants to go so as not to waste this career opportunity," the agent said, before emphasizing that Ibson's signing has nothing to do with a possible transfer for the defensive midfielder.
“His arrival has no relation to Paulinho’s departure,” he added.
Kleber Leite, when contacted by JORNAL DOS SPORTS, stated that he had not received any notification regarding an official proposal.
"I haven't received anything so far. If I received an offer, it was only to the athlete's agent. There's nothing new for me," the director said.

Roger: 'Flamengo's shirt is the true Sacred Mantle'
José Luiz de Pinho
Rio - The good son returns home. A perfect saying to describe Roger's reunion with his roots. A Flamengo youth player from ages 11 to 14, the soccer player and pop star returns to Gávea. And with a huge declaration of love for Flamengo.
"My whole family is Flamengo fans. Other clubs' jerseys are just jerseys. This is the true sacred mantle," said Roger, kissing the red-and-black crest, unconcerned about being presented with a Flamengo jersey without a number.
"Numbers don't matter. I'm not vain. What matters is the tradition of this shirt," the new Flamengo signing downplayed.
Welcomed in Gávea with the Flamengo anthem, led by fan José Carlos Peruano, in the Gilberto Cardoso Filho Auditorium, Roger Galera Flores came to Flamengo on loan until December, but with the chance of staying at Rubro-negro until the end of 2008.
"I'm certain that with the arrival of Roger and Íbson, plus the return of Obina and Renato Augusto, who returns from the U-20 national team, Flamengo will take off in the Brazilian Championship. Roger will be a hit at Flamengo, and we just need to pay $500 to MSI (the investment fund that holds the player's rights) by December 31st to keep him," said Flamengo's vice president of football, Kléber Leite.
The former Fluminense and Corinthians player, who is thrilled, insists he won't be shaken by the first Fla-Flu matchup, wearing his rival's jersey. Concerned about the team's relegation zone, coach Ney Franco welcomed the arrival of the new "apple of Gávea's eye."
“With Roger’s arrival, we have everything we need to win the Brazilian Championship,” predicted the optimistic Ney Franco.
Paulinho's agent says the possibility of the player leaving Flamengo is high
Rio - In an interview with Rádio Brasil, midfielder Paulinho's agent said there's a strong possibility of him leaving Flamengo. An Israeli club is interested in the player. "The possibility of negotiations is strong. The Israeli club is interested. Paulinho is at a stage in his career where he can't afford to pass up offers. The likelihood is that he'll leave. The matter will be resolved next week," the agent stated.
Ibson's presentation at Flamengo will be on Monday at 16 pm
Rio - Ibson will be presented on Monday at 16 p.m. in Gávea. The midfielder was signed from Futebol Clube do Porto. According to the player's agent, Eduardo Uram, the Portuguese club's coach didn't want to count on Ibson. "It was unprecedented. Porto loaned the player out, but demanded a contract extension," Uram told Rádio Brasil. Ibson will remain with Flamengo until June 2008.

Kléber Leite still hopes to sign one more player\ Gazeta Press\
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - Even after introducing midfielders Ibson and Roger, Flamengo expects to announce more signings. The Rio de Janeiro club's vice president of football, Kléber Leite, promised fans one more piece of news by next Monday. "We could have one more piece of news by Monday to complete the signing cycle for the current season. We're working on a situation with Atlético Paranaense, which could have a favorable outcome," the director said, avoiding naming names.
The Rubro-Negro club has been looking for a defensive midfielder, who could potentially come from Furacão. Regarding forward Nilmar, Kléber Leite ruled out a signing, believing the situation involving the player, MSI, Corinthians, and Lyon in France is too complicated.
Roger is introduced and receives praise from Kléber Leite\ Gazeta Press\
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - Flamengo apparently took the week off to announce some high-profile signings. One day after officially signing Íbson, a player the club developed while at Porto, the club's board confirmed midfielder Roger, who had been sidelined at Corinthians due to not being part of coach Paulo César Carpegiani's plans. The player was officially presented this Friday afternoon at the Gávea headquarters. Roger signed a contract until the end of the year, with the Rio de Janeiro club having priority to renew the loan until December 31st, only having to deposit US$500 (approximately R$1 million) into Corinthians' account.
Flamengo's vice president, Kléber Leite, was pleased with the negotiations. "Flamengo was very well received by the Corinthians team, with whom we have an excellent relationship. Roger arrives very excited and is part of the process to shape the team currently competing in the Brazilian Championship. We're facing financial difficulties, and when that happens, it's important to take it slow, as the path isn't always straight. But even with the twists and turns, we've managed to get to the right place," he assessed.
Roger Galera Flores, 29, trained futsal for the Rubro-Negro club, but since he wasn't used in field soccer, he tried his luck at Fluminense and ended up being revealed in the youth ranks of Laranjeiras. With the Rio de Janeiro club, he won the Rio Cup (1998), the Brazilian Serie C (1999), and the 2002 Carioca Championship. He also played for Benfica, winning the Portuguese Cup (2003/2004). He arrived at Corinthians in 2005, where he won the Brazilian championship that same year.
Roger's Flamengo debut doesn't yet have a scheduled date, but since he was playing for another Brazilian club, he doesn't have to wait until August to play for his new team. "His debut will be evaluated by the coaching staff, but he wants to play soon, and I won't be surprised if he makes his debut in next Thursday's match against Paraná Clube in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais," stated Kléber Leite.
But shortly afterward, the player himself admitted that he'll have to wait a little longer to play for the Red-Blacks. "I wasn't sitting around, as I'd been working normally, although I wasn't handling the ball to avoid any injuries. I believe I'll be ready to play in ten days, but that will depend on the assessment of the coaching staff and physical trainers," Roger explained.
The player was very excited about this new opportunity in his career and became emotional when recalling his Flamengo roots and his friendship with Kléber Leite. "I'm happy to be welcomed with such warmth by Flamengo. My relationship with Flamengo goes way back, as I made great friends here, like Kléber Leite, who always provided me with emotional support during the most difficult moments of my life. I'm not joining Flamengo for financial reasons, but rather for the emotional aspect, to be able to return to this club and wear the sacred jersey," he concluded.
Roger leaves Corinthians for Flamengo
São Paulo (SP) - After nearly two months away from Corinthians, midfielder Roger has finally found a new club. After emerging in Fluminense's youth academy, the player returns to Rio de Janeiro. He signed with Flamengo and will be presented this Friday at 17:30 pm (Brasília time). The Rio de Janeiro club confirmed the player's signing in a brief statement on its official website. According to Corinthians, the player will be loaned to the Rio de Janeiro club until the end of the year. The São Paulo club will not receive any payment from the deal, but Flamengo will have to pay the midfielder's full salary.
Roger won the Brazilian championship with Corinthians in 2005, after a lackluster stint in European football. But in his final year, he failed to replicate his strong performances and was underutilized by the coaches who worked at Parque São Jorge, in addition to suffering a series of injuries during that time.
With the arrival of coach Paulo César Carpegiani, attempts were made to bring the player back to the team, but he was finally dismissed on May 22, when the São Paulo club's board made clear their desire to negotiate the player's release. Since then, he has been training separately from the group, at Corinthians' Itaquera training center.

Former Tricolor, Roger praises his red-black roots upon arriving at Fla
Marcelo Ferreira\ In Rio de Janeiro\ Having graduated from Fluminense, where he gained prominence in Brazilian football, midfielder Roger was officially presented as the new signing for arch-rival Flamengo late Friday afternoon in Gávea. Despite his Tricolor past, upon his arrival at the new team, the player made a point of remembering that he has red-and-black roots.\
Midfielder Roger is introduced at Flamengo and kisses the Rio de Janeiro club's crest
"I'm fulfilled. It's a big dream. This is where I took my first steps towards the youth team. I'm very excited to be returning to Flamengo after so many years," said Roger, adding that the deal with the red-and-black club was quick.
"I didn't come here for the financial side, but for the heart, to go back to this club that I used to go to when I was a kid," he continued.
Roger signed a loan deal with Flamengo until December 31st of this year. However, the Rio de Janeiro club didn't pay a cent to Corinthians—where the midfielder was "on hold"—for the transfer.
Furthermore, according to vice president of football Kléber Leite, the red-and-blacks could acquire the player outright for the "simple" sum of US$500. To do so, they must express their right to purchase by November 30th.
Out of rhythm, Roger asks for ten days\ As he was away from the Corinthians main squad since coach Paulo César Carpegiani took over the São Paulo team in mid-April, Roger hasn't played a match in three months - the last one was on the 11th of that month, against Santo André, in the Campeonato Paulista.\
Therefore, the player admits he's lacking match fitness, but believes he'll be able to play again soon. "I wasn't sitting around. I kept training, but I avoided ball training to avoid injuries. So, the biggest problem is this lack of fitness. But I believe I'll be ready to play in ten days," he commented.
Finally, Roger tried to forget the problems he had at Corinthians and focus solely on the future. "I don't know why or by whom I was removed from the team, but that doesn't interest me anymore. It's in the past, now it's a new life from now on at Flamengo," he concluded.
Christian on the way\ Roger's signing isn't expected to be Flamengo's last for the Brazilian Championship. After the midfielder's presentation, Kleber Leite revealed that a new signing is on the way to the club. It's midfielder Christian, who is reportedly involved in a swap deal with Atlético-PR for Claiton.\
"We may have news by Monday. Everything is set between Christian and Flamengo. Claiton just needs to work out the details with Atlético-PR," said the director.
Fla above Flu
During his official presentation as Flamengo's new signing, Roger couldn't avoid a question about his time at Fluminense. When discussing the subject, the midfielder sought to express gratitude to his former club, but prioritized his current one.
"The Flamengo jersey is the true sacred mantle. The others are just cloaks. I thank Fluminense for giving me a career boost. But I'm back to fulfill a childhood dream," he said.
Ney Franco is considering how to promote Obina's return to Flamengo.
After nearly five months without playing a match, striker Obina is expected to return to the Flamengo squad for the team's next match, against Paraná, next Thursday in Uberlândia, for the Brazilian Championship. Due to the player's long period of inactivity, coach Ney Franco is still considering how to bring him back.
"The tendency is to use him in the game against Paraná. But it's still too early to say whether we'll use him for a while or 20 minutes," the coach told Rádio Bandeirantes, justifying his position.
"After a surgery like this, it's advisable to proceed calmly and calmly to launch him at the right time," explained the red-black commander.
In any case, Obina is very likely to play against Paraná. According to Ney Franco, the striker has proven in recent training sessions that he has recovered from surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, which he tore during the derby against Vasco da Gama in the semifinals of the Guanabara Cup - the first round of the Rio State Championship.
"He's been surprising. In the last training session, he worked hard, helped with the marking, shot with his left foot, right foot and scored a goal," said coach Ney Franco.

Roger arrived at Flamengo to fulfill a long-held dream. His loan contract with the club runs until December. Read the key excerpts from the interview:
Finally on my favorite team\ "The Flamengo shirt is the true sacred mantle. The others are just mantles. I thank Fluminense for giving me a career boost. But I'm back to fulfill a childhood dream. "I don't usually speak ill of anyone. I played there, I was an idol. Playing there is difficult. There's a lot of pressure, similar to what there is here. The problem with Corinthians is that no one knows what's going on there. When we wanted to talk about something, we didn't know who to contact. I was removed, I don't know by whom and I don't know for what reason. But God writes straight with crooked lines."
Debut with the mantle
"At Corinthians, I avoided training with the ball because any negotiations could happen. I worked on my physical fitness, doing strength and endurance exercises. Now, I just need to get into the swing of things, but I have a lot of faith in the professionals here. I'm eager to wear this jersey and show my skills to the fans. Every new team is a new life. With joy, things will flow naturally."

Flamengo director Kléber Leite guarantees that MSI is out of the deal
The news that Roger would be introduced as Flamengo's new signing took everyone by surprise this Friday. And it was no surprise. Negotiations with the former Corinthians player were conducted in the dark, or rather, throughout the early hours of the morning. The joy with which the midfielder was introduced by Kléber Leite, vice president of football, shows that it was worth losing a few hours of sleep.
"At Flamengo, only exceptional professionals work. I know that if it were up to the fans, we'd have the Brazilian national team here. One day we'll even get there. What I can say is that Roger is a very dear, sweet person; I have a strong connection with him. The opportunity arose late last night, and we stayed up all night in a series of meetings. I also thank Corinthians for everything going so well," says the Mengão director.
"Corinthians owns 100% of Roger's federation rights. There's nothing MSI-related in this story." Kléber Leite, vice president of football Amidst the crisis involving Corinthians and MSI, Kléber made a point of saying that none of this interferes with the negotiations with Rubro-Negro.
"Corinthians owns 100% of Roger's federation rights. There's nothing MSI-related about this story. He's on loan to Flamengo, and the contract runs until December 31st. Flamengo will pay the player's full salary and will have a priority option to buy him at the end of his contract. To do so, they must notify their interest in writing before November 30th and pay the sum of $500," explains Kléber.

Ney Franco considers Roger a key player in Mengão's recovery
Even without abandoning his traditional calm style, coach Ney Franco couldn't hide his smile during the presentation of his midfielder Roger at Gávea. Despite leaving Corinthians in a bad phase, the player arrives as an important piece for Flamengo's attack and could be very useful to the Mengão coach's tactical ambitions.
Ney believes that Roger will be a milestone in the red-black team's recovery in the Brazilian Championship (the team is in 18th place, with just eight points, but has two games less than most teams).
"He arrives at a special time, when we need to bounce back. His quality is undeniable. He's an athlete who will help us close out our 2007 season well. We're still fighting for the title, we have games in hand, and if we earn a few more points, we'll jump into the top spots," the coach plans.
Roger's career until arriving at Fla
After pledging his love for Fluminense, the player returns to the club that almost revealed him
Roger introduces himself to Flamango
Roger Galera Flores was born on August 17, 1978, in Rio de Janeiro. He came up through the youth ranks of Fluminense, where he won the 1998 Rio Cup. The following year, he won the Série C title of the Brazilian Championship with the Tricolor carioca.
In 2001, he joined Benfica, where he stayed for three seasons. After another brief stint at Fluminense, he joined Corinthians when MSI arrived. With the São Paulo club, he won the Brazilian championship in 2005, but he never became a legend for the club.
The midfielder also played for the Brazilian team that was eliminated from the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
Start at Flamengo?
Roger always had a love affair with Fluminense, but his first kicks were at Gávea, the home of rival Flamengo. However, his time with the Red-Black team didn't last long. At 16, still a youth player, he moved to Laranjeiras. Skilled and quick, Roger caught the attention of coaches.
His first professional match took place in 1996, in the Brasileirão, against Atlético-MG, at the age of 18. After two years of searching for a place among Flu's starting players, Roger also won a place in the hearts of the Tricolores, who had been lacking idols since winning the 1984 Brasileirão.
1998 Rio Cup and Brazilian Championship Series C title
It was at the Copa Rio that the promise began to become reality. In the campaign that culminated in Fluminense's title win, the midfielder scored the first goal, against Bonsucesso.
In 1999, the year in which the Laranjeiras team played in the Third Division of the Brazilian Championship, Roger was the team's maestro and guaranteed, once and for all, a place in the club's history.
Brazilian team and embarrassment
Roger didn't get many chances with the Brazilian national team. But he did get a taste of wearing the yellow jersey. It was with the pre-Olympic team, which went to Sydney, Australia, in 2000.
And it was also with the U-23 national team that he experienced his greatest disappointment. The loss to Cameroon in the quarterfinals of the Olympic Games went down in history as one of the Brazilian national team's greatest embarrassments.
Next stop: Portugal
In the first half of 2001, Benfica signed Fluminense's number 10 on a five-year contract. The Tricolor fans were unhappy with the sale of their idol. However, six months later, the player was back at the club that had revealed him. In that year's Brasileirão, Roger led the team to the semifinals.
Corinthians: from heaven to hell
After winning the 2005 Brasileirão, the midfielder ended up in Timão's B team.
The midfielder arrived at the club in January 2005 to be one of the stars, alongside Argentine Carlitos Tevez. He was previously playing for Benfica in Portugal. He played 106 matches, winning 54, drawing 21, and losing 31. He scored 23 goals, averaging 0,21 per game.
Since then, Roger has had his ups and downs. He enjoyed his best run in the 2005 Brazilian Championship. However, a serious injury to the fibula in his right leg in a match against Vasco da Gama in October forced him to undergo surgery. Roger missed the final games of the club's fourth national championship campaign. Even so, he was voted one of the best players.
The injury kept Roger out of the start of the 2006 preseason. When he returned to the field, Timão had signed another star to fill his role, Ricardinho. The midfielder returned to the team during the Copa Libertadores, but failed to perform well throughout the season.
In 2007, the midfielder did not perform well, was released (watch the video below) and ended up being relegated by coach Paulo Cesar Carpegiani to Corinthians B. He played only 15 matches for Corinthians and scored five goals.
New life at Flamengo
This Friday, the Rubro-Negro club announced the signing of Roger. The midfielder will stay with the club until the end of the year. At his official presentation at Gávea, the supporter sent the fans into a frenzy by declaring that the only sacred jersey is the red-and-black jersey and revealing that he's returning to the club to fulfill a childhood dream.
Maxi is present in Gávea
The athlete watched the red-black team's training session and spoke with vice-president of football Kléber Leite.
Maxi Biancucchi will only be able to make his Flamengo debut on August 3rd. Argentine Maximiliano Biancucchi, cousin of star Lionel Messi, showed up at training this Friday at Gávea to see his new teammates at work. The Flamengo players performed a technical drill, exchanging passes and finishing for goal.
Biancucchi, who will only be able to register with the CBF on August 3, spoke with vice president of football Kléber Leite and is expected to begin training with the group next Monday. The director took the opportunity to inspect the area where the striker underwent surgery.
The Argentine underwent surgery last Tuesday at a hospital in Rio's North Zone to remove a sebaceous cyst near his neck.
Flamengo will only be able to count on Ibson in August
The CBF transfer window only opens on August 3rd. The debut could be against Santos.
Ibson, Flamengo's new signing\ Midfielder Ibson confirmed his return to Flamengo this Thursday, but will only reinforce the red-black team's midfield in the Brazilian Championship from August onwards.\
This is because the international transfer window opens on August 3rd, and only after that date can the player be registered with the CBF. Therefore, Ibson will not face Paraná, Grêmio, América-RN, and Corinthians, the Rubro-Negro's next opponents.
Therefore, the midfielder's likely debut will be on August 5th, when Flamengo will face Santos, at Vila Belmiro.

LANCENET! contacted soccer experts for their opinions on the signing of midfielder Ibson, who signed with Flamengo this Thursday after lengthy negotiations with Porto. The player, who renewed his contract with the Portuguese club until 2011, is on loan until June 2008.
Experts Alex Escobar of SporTV and Benjamin Back, a columnist for LANCE!, share a common opinion. They both believe Flamengo's midfield creation problem won't be solved by signing Ibson, but both endorsed the player's signing.
"He's another defensive midfielder joining Flamengo, but much better than the ones currently there. It's a very good signing," said Escobar.
"Ibson is a good player and a good signing, but he won't solve Flamengo's lack of creativity in midfield. He can't be Renato's replacement," Back said.
The two also shared their opinions on the best formation for coach Ney Franco's midfield. Alex Escobar believes the formation should be Paulinho, Claiton, Ibson, and Renato Augusto.
As for Benjamin Back, only Ibson and Renato Augusto have guaranteed places in the sector.
"The other players in the midfield are of the same level, so it doesn't matter. Renato Augusto is the most unique player in the midfield," he said.

The friendly match is a good way for the team to get into rhythm for the rest of the Brasileirão. LANCEPRESS! The long period without games was good for Flamengo to improve its physical condition for the marathon that lies ahead in the Brazilian Championship. But now the team is starting to worry about its match rhythm for the match against Paraná, next Thursday, in Uberlândia.
With this in mind, Flamengo will play a training match against Olaria this Saturday, at 10 am, at Ninho do Urubu, in Vargem Grande, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro.

Rodrigo Arroz, Thiago, and Moisés are competing for the starting positions.
Their opponent in the practice match, Olaria, is in the semifinals of the Copa Rio. The Bariri team has one win and two losses in Group O of the competition.
