In a climate of disguised dissatisfaction due to the delay in payment—which will only end after the Timemania campaign goes live and the release of Petrobras' sponsorship quotas, which were withheld by court order—Flamengo is experiencing a Thursday that promises to be another record-breaking attendance day. The players discussed the board's promise to pay 50% of August's salaries by tomorrow and the remainder between the 15th and 25th. Flamengo appeals to have Obina
The warrior is injured, not dead. Even after being suspended for 120 days for elbowing Internacional's Índio, striker Obina could receive some big news today. The club's lawyer, Michel Assef Filho, appealed the outcome of the first trial, held on September 18th, and the case will be re-evaluated by the Superior Court of Justice (STJD).

A newspaper report that the club's players had met with the board to demand back pay deeply angered defender Fábio Luciano. According to the captain, the squad's goal is to help the team avoid relegation once and for all.

After being suspended for 120 days by the Superior Court of Sports Justice (STJD), striker Obina returns to the dock this Thursday. Flamengo's appeal will be heard at 14 p.m., giving them their last chance to sign the player this year.
On September 18, Obina was judged by the Second Disciplinary Committee of the STJD for having elbowed defender Índio during the match against Inter on the 8th of last month.

"Maracanã is where I feel good, and this milestone only motivates me even more. Our fans are incredible," says the foreigner.
But to remain undefeated in the "Biggest in the World," Maxi will have to overcome Rogério Ceni's wall. In 28 games, he has conceded only nine goals. In the first round, the two teams drew 0-0 (watch the video with highlights below).
