The first three missions for Fla in 2010
\
\
\ Flamengo begins to discuss the future of three players considered essential\ to form the 2010 group: defender Ronaldo Angelim, midfielder Aírton and\ midfielder Éverton.
\
The cases of the latter two will be the subject of a meeting with Traffic. Flamengo owns only 10% of Éverton's rights, whose contract with the club has ended. Regarding Aírton, of whom Flamengo holds only 15%, the contract indicates that, in the event of an offer from abroad, even if below the amount of the fine, the club could only keep the midfielder if it met the offer. Traffic wants to sell him to Benfica.
\
Ronaldo Angelim, who is currently playing for Ceará, began negotiations yesterday. The player's initial request was above the club's expected price. The matter has been handled by executive director Eduardo Manhães.
\
Today, the Deliberative Council meets to vote on Olympikus' proposal for new uniforms for 2010. The shirts will feature the CBF shield, in reference to the club's sixth Brazilian championship title. A third uniform will be put to a vote.

By Andrade and Dodô
\
Even before taking over as Flamengo's president, Patrícia Amorim secured her first victory in the delicate operation to keep Andrade at the club. Thanks, no doubt, to a remarkably feminine savvy, which, in this case, her vice president of football, Marcos Braz, lacked. I emphasize the expression "in this case" because, in other cases, the same leader has also been spot on.
\
\
In Andrade's case, he hesitated, because the coach has every right to make his proposal, his demand for a raise, after leading the team—and leading it very well—to the Brazilian championship title. He has the right to ask, let's say, for a higher salary.
\
It is up to the club, Flamengo, to please its loyal professionals without degrading its rules of common sense and good management. And that is exactly what Patrícia Amorim did, what Patrícia Amorim managed to do.
\
It's not easy, in this fantasy football, to balance the salary of a Brazilian champion coach with the club's potential. It may seem like a fantasy, too, but a salary of R$160 for a First Division champion coach is worthy of him, the coach, Andrade, and is also compatible with a club like Flamengo.
\
\ That is, if we remember that the coach who won the Second Division - we are talking about the Second Division now! - was angry with his salary of R$280 thousand and left Vasco.
\
\ This, if we also remember that medal-winning coaches are earning over R$300, over R$400 and even over R$500. It is one of the absurdities of Brazilian football.
\
\ The salary of R$160 thousand (a little more or a little less) corresponds, for Andrade, to\ an increase in line with his work and his achievement, at the same time that\ it fits much better with the reality of our clubs.
\
\ It may seem paradoxical, in Brazil, to say that this salary (160 thousand)\ "matches reality", but that's exactly it: salaries of football coaches in big clubs are those above. Period.
\
\ In my opinion, it was good for Andrade, it was good for\ Flamengo, it was good for the fans, who value and admire their long-time idol.\ Long time.
\
\ If it was good for the team, oh, we'll see about that next year. I wish it was.
\
\ For him, Andrade.

Shoo-hoo trunk!\ Shoo-hoo beak!
\
\ With Andrade's contract renewed, Flamengo's biggest challenge in the first months of the year will not be the fight for the fourth state championship, but the management of the "proboscis" and "snout" that emerged on both sides during the negotiations, which seemed to me to be particularly poorly conducted by the main people involved - the coach himself and the vice-president of football.
\
\
\\ Frowns and somber faces were displayed in interviews every day. Threatening phrases were met with resentful words. And,\\ like in a theater of the absurd, everything seemed to be heading toward an outcome that no one\\ wanted.
\
\ Therein lay the biggest mistake on both sides. Not sitting at the table with the main premise as a starting point: neither Andrade would want to leave, nor would Flamengo appreciate his departure. Which almost happened due to a lack of tact and skill on both sides.
\
\ Let the lesson be learned and let the\ "trunks" and the "beaks" be quickly and definitively disarmed. With the fifth state title and the\ six-time Brazilian championship, in Gávea there are plenty of reasons to smile, not to\ stay growling or grumbling, as happened this week.
\
\ Moving forward, because "Novela Andrade" is over and it's the kind of series\ that "isn't worth watching again".
\
\ There was talk of Joel Santana,\ Celso Roth and even Leão! Can you imagine that anyone in their right mind would even think of contacting the "white-maned beast" to try to "tame" Adriano and Petkovic, the biggest stars of the cast?
\
\ Speculation aside, the name that the board had in its vest pocket, in case they didn't reach an agreement with Andrade, was Rogério Lourenço, the club's former defender (with a stint at Cruzeiro) and, like "Tromba", a homegrown player.
\
\ Rogério, who managed the Brazilian team that finished runner-up in the last U-20 World Cup,\ has been incorporated into the main team's coaching staff and will work alongside\ Marcelo Sales as assistant coach.

Marcos Braz: "We would like to count on Aírton"
\ \Rio de Janeiro: Aírton's departure to Benfica was already considered a given. This week, the midfielder was expected in Portugal to finalize the transfer details. However, Flamengo's vice president of football, Marcos Braz, tried to block the deal, which would have been more profitable for Traffic, which holds 50% of the economic rights, and Nova Iguaçu, which holds the remaining 30%.
\ \To release the 19-year-old, the director demands that Flamengo pay the full amount of the R$20 million release clause. If this doesn't happen, there will be no agreement, since Flamengo will only receive R$1,1 million, a low amount. Besides this obstacle, the player is considered important for next year's Copa Libertadores and Campeonato Brasileiro.
\ \"The proposal does not satisfy Flamengo financially. We understand that we need the player in 2010,\ the year in which we will compete in an international competition. We would like to\ count on Aírton in Rio - President-elect Patrícia Amorim begins preparing the ground for her inauguration, rescheduled for Tuesday (Monday, the day initially scheduled, the Brazil Olympic Awards will take place). Yesterday, she was in São Paulo to learn about new tendencies de marketing for sports clubs, not just related to football.
\
The trip is yet another indication that changes will be made to the current board. Vice President of Marketing Ricardo Hinrichsen is one who is not expected to continue in his role. Previously, Márcio Braga had mentioned Hinrichsen as a potential director of a marketing agency. advertising of the club.
\
\ By the weekend, Patrícia must define all her deputies so that they can be presented together at her inauguration on Tuesday. Coach Andrade must also take part of the ceremony in Gávea.
\
\ Today, she will already have an initial battle ahead, when the club's Deliberative Council will vote on the approval of the new Olympikus uniforms.
\
\ In addition to the two traditional ones, the company will present a third option, which was never\ managed to be registered at Flamengo by the previous manufacturer.

Flamengo rejects proposal for Aírton
\ \Rio\ - If Benfica wants to count on the football fans midfielder Aírton will have to increase the 3 million euro (approximately R$7,6 million) offer made to Flamengo. The club's vice president of football, Marcos Braz, confirmed the amount, but considered the offer lower than expected.
\ \O Flamengo holds only 15% of the midfielder's rights and would receive only 450 thousand euros (around R$ 1,1 million). This amount would be far from the R$ 3 million that the club would be entitled to for the termination fee, currently set at around R$ 20 million.

Flamengo may loan young Erick Flores to Palmeiras
\ \
\
Rio de Janeiro - RJ)
Young midfielder Erick Flores is another player who is unlikely to continue at Flamengo next season. The Flamengo board believes the 20-year-old could gain more experience if loaned to another team in 2010. His possible destination would be Palmeiras.
\
\ For now, the parties have not confirmed any negotiations. "I've been out of São Paulo since yesterday (Wednesday), but it wasn't a name I've heard about at the club," said Palmeiras' football director,\ Genaro Marino.
\
Erick Flores' attorney, Reinaldo Pitta, adopted a similar stance. "I'm in a meeting in Portugal, but so far no one from Palmeiras has contacted me. I'll find out when I get back, which will be on Saturday," he explained.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, the athlete comes from the club's youth divisions and received the first opportunity no time professional in 2008, still under the command of coach Caio Júnior.\ Franzino, he had poor performances that season and performed a day to gain greater physical size.
\ \This year, he performed better with Cuca and Andrade and was called up to compete in the World Cup with Brazilian Team under-20. His contract with Flamengo ends on September 15, 2013. Flamengo's football director, Marcos Braz, was contacted, but the calls went to voicemail.

Hélio Ferraz says that Flamengo will not do anything crazy in 2010
\ \
\
Gazeta Press - Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
With Andrade remaining as the team's coach, Flamengo is rushing to define its plans for 2010, the year in which it will compete in the Copa Libertadores of America. Several meetings are scheduled for the coming days and, according to the club's future vice-president general, Hélio Ferraz, the transition of command at the club creates some difficulties.
\
"The club's overall budget limits have not yet been defined and, in part, this has created difficulties in renewing with Andrade. The inauguration ceremony of the new board was brought forward to the 23rd, but the actual inauguration of president Patrícia Amorim will only be on the first working day of January," the director told Rádio Brasil this Thursday.
\
The director did not confirm the intention to reduce the Football Department's payroll, but indicated that the club will not commit the excesses of the past.
\
\"Our logic and our challenge is to improve efficiency and results with the least possible financial effort. There is no point in hiring the best player of the world and not be able to honor the commitment. Maybe the professional even deserves to earn more than the club can pay, as I believe is the case with Andrade, but we have to stop this in business of the club pretending to pay and the player pretending to play\", completed Hélio Ferraz.

The atmosphere at Flamengo is one of relief after Andrade's stay is guaranteed
\ \
\
Gazeta Press - Rio de Janeiro (RJ)
Flamengo president-elect Patrícia Amorim was relieved with the successful renewal of coach Andrade's contract. After a true saga, the Brazilian title-winning coach confirmed his stay at Gávea on Wednesday night.
\
"I'm happy with this outcome. I wanted to keep Andrade. The fans can now rest easy," commented the president-elect of Rubro-negro.
\
According to Patrícia Amorim, the agreement with Andrade can be considered her first major act in the administration of Flamengo, which officially begins only next year. The club's board had difficulty reaching a financial agreement with Andrade.
\
\ "I strongly believe that the problems be resolved within Flamengo itself. At the same time, I am the one who must set the ceiling. I am committed to the club's budget," explained the director upon leaving the meeting with the coach.
\
In addition to Andrade, Flamengo also confirmed the continuation of assistant coach Marcelo Sales. For the Brazilian champion commander, the prolonged conversations should be seen as natural.
\
"The discussion is normal. I try to see my side, Flamengo sees theirs. The important thing is that everything worked out in the end," explained Andrade, who dismissed any disagreements with vice president of football Marcos Braz for the future. "Of course, a situation like this brings a little wear and tear, but I would never be ungrateful to a person who gave me opportunity", added the Brazilian champion.
\
\ During the conversations, information that Andrade was extremely dissatisfied with Flamengo's offers. The coach denied, however, that financial considerations had caused the delay in reaching an agreement. Even with the coach's reassuring words, Marcos Braz couldn't hide his discomfort when discussing the renewal process with the coach.
\
"We tried to smooth things over. The important thing is that Flamengo's financial situation was taken into account," the director warned.

Fla fans are just joy
\ \\ \
Still euphoric after winning the 2009 Brazilian Championship and ending a 17-year drought, Flamengo fans continue to celebrate in the streets of Rio de Janeiro. This Sunday, a walk along the coastline in the south zone, with the approval of the city hall, promises more red-and-black celebrations.
\ \The march will take place along the boardwalks of Ipanema and Leblon beaches. The rally is scheduled for 10 a.m. at Posto 9, and fans will then proceed to Posto 12. A drum section from one of the club's organized fan groups promises to lead the party.
\ \"We've been organizing this for a while, we got the authorizations and the event is confirmed. It's a party for all Flamengo fans. Anyone who comes will be welcome. We'll continue celebrating this historic year for Flamengo football," said Felipe Reis, one of the event organizers.
\ \Luckily for fans and as a way to help with the walk along the coast, the promise of plenty of sunshine in Rio de Janeiro this Sunday is expected. The weather forecast indicates few clouds and temperatures are expected to reach 33°C on the day.

The Brazilian title weighs on the choice of striker Adriano
\ \\ \
The announcement has not yet been made officially, but striker Adriano, who achieved some impressive achievements for Flamengo in 2009, is expected to remain in Gávea at least until the 2010 World Cup. Friends and family have advised him to stay in Rio de Janeiro and discard, for now, offers from Europe.
\ \Coincidence or not, the Emperor is not even expected to travel to Italy this weekend, something he had planned to do at the beginning of his vacation. He will remain in the Marvelous City, where he will spend Christmas and is expected to announce his destination after the date, after having a final conversation with his agent, former goalkeeper Gilmar Rinaldi.
\ \Italian, German and English clubs still dream of the center forward's goals and have offered more financially advantageous contracts, but staying in Rio and playing in the Libertadores for Flamengo is weighing on the decision of the number 10, who finished the last Brazilian Championship as top scorer, alongside Diego Tardelli, having scored 19 times.
\ \Incidentally, this number led him to achieve several milestones within the Rubro-Negro, according to figures provided by the club itself. In addition to giving Flamengo a top scorer in the Brasileirão again after 27 years, as Zico, in 1982, had been the last, Adriano became the second player to score the most goals for the team in a single season of the decade.
\ \With 19 goals in 2009, the Emperor is behind only Edilson, who scored 2001 times in 28. However, Adriano only made his debut for the team at the end of May, playing fewer games this year than the Devil. For now, Obina is the team's top scorer this decade, having scored 47 goals.
\ \His good form led him back to the Brazilian national team and, as a bonus, earned him some individual awards from the Brazilian Championship. Adriano won the Golden Ball, awarded by the magazine Placar, and was elected one of the best attackers in the competition, at an official ceremony held by the CBF.

To attract as many fans as possible, the midfielder is appealing for the presence of stars from the present and past.
\ \On the guest list for the game, which will take place at Clube 5 de Julho on the 23rd of this month at 15 pm, are names such as Romário, Adriano, goalkeeper Júlio César and Vasco midfielder Carlos Alberto. There will also be a match between the master teams of Botafogo and Flamengo, and the participation of the red-and-black coach Andrade, who renewed his contract with the team from Gávea last Wednesday, is expected.
\ \"We were raised in São Gonçalo and we try to hold this party every year-end to collect food and help those in need. It's a way we found to give back the affection we receive from the people of the region. We hope to once again fill the club and provide a great party for everyone," said Ibson, currently playing for Spartak Moscow.
\ \To attend the event, each fan must bring at least 2 kg of non-perishable food. Organizers expect to raise approximately 75 tons of food, which will be distributed to underserved communities in the Rio de Janeiro municipality. Contractual clause may release Aírton to Benfica for an amount below the fine
\ \Marcos Braz is expected to meet with the president of Traffic this Friday and the subject will be on the agenda: 'Our intention is to count on the steering wheel in 2010'
\ \ \ \\ \
Aírton has a contract until 2013, but Fla only has 15%
\ \Although the Flamengo having rejected the official offer of 3 million euros (around R$ 7,6 million) for Aírton, the midfielder could go to Portugal.
\
GLOBOESPORTE.COM has learned that there is a clause in the contract that obliges the club to release the player if an offer exceeds 2,25 million euros (approximately R$5,7 million). Traffic, which owns 35% of the player's rights, and Nova Iguaçu, which owns 50%, are considering enforcing this legal device.
\
However, Flamengo says it will only accept the offer if it receives the amount owed to it, plus the €8 million (R$20 million) release clause. The club is entitled to 15% of the deal. In other words, Marcos Braz, Flamengo's vice president of football, is demanding R$3 million.
\
The disagreement causes friction in the relationship between the red-black board of directors, Traffic, and Nova Iguaçu. Far from an amicable agreement, the soap opera promises many chapters.
\ The next one will be this Friday. Marcos Braz will participate in the Arena\ SporTV program, alongside the president of Traffic, Júlio Mariz.
\
"I haven't spoken to Traffic yet. I'll do so now. I think it's very unlikely that Aírton will leave. Our intention is to count on him in 2010. Our main signings will be to maintain the team and renew contracts with the champions," said Marcos Braz.
\ \
Coach Andrade has already warned the director that he would not like to lose the midfielder, who has a contract with Flamengo until December 2013.

\ \ \ \\ \

\ \For most of his working days, Carlinhos goes to Gávea to play cards. This is the former player and coach's main pastime. Flamengo. But he still follows football, even if from afar. So much so that he admitted, this Thursday, that he celebrated the 2009 Brazilian Championship.
\
"It was a well-deserved title and a beautiful thing to see. Flamengo was rewarded for its competence. It's impossible to say this victory wasn't fair. Flamengo deserved it," said Carlinhos, who coached Andrade in the 80s.
\
\ That's why he was also thrilled with his former manager's first victory as a coach. And he approved his continued stay at Gávea until 2010.
\
"Andrade deserved to be champion, because he did a good job as coach. And it was good that they renewed because he already knows the club, he knows how things at Flamengo work... There was a good combination. It was great for Flamengo and for everyone," said Carlinhos.
\
\ Without wanting to comment on what kind of signing needs to be made, Violino is\ confident for a successful 2010. He believes that Flamengo has everything it needs to\ be as victorious as in 2009.
\
"I have faith that with this team, Flamengo will win the Libertadores and the fourth State Championship title, which they have never achieved. I believe they can achieve everything. I will be here watching and cheering," he said.
\
\ As a player, Carlinhos played 517 matches for Flamengo, scoring 23 goals and winning the Rio-São Paulo Championship in 1961 and the Cariocas Championship in 1963 and 1965. As a coach, he won the Brazilian Championship in 1987 and 1992, the Mercosul Championship in 1999 and the Cariocas Championship in 1991, 1999 and 2000.
\
\ Currently, he enjoys his 72 years playing cards every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Gávea. And talking with the same lucidity as always.
\
"I always come here to play my pif paf, which is a kind of "buraco." But I don't bet anything. The concept is distraction," said Carlinhos.

Maracanã will be closed in September 2010 and should be ready in 2012
\ \Construction work for the 2014 World Cup will begin in March, but the stadium will host games until August next year.
\ \ \ \\ \
The Maracanã will be\ completely closed to the public from September 2010, due to construction work\ for the 2014 World Cup. The renovations will begin in March, but the stadium\ will host games until August of next year.
\
\ The Maracanã is expected to be ready for the World Cup in Brazil in December 2012. According to Márcia Lins, State Secretary of Tourism, Sport and Leisure of Rio de Janeiro, the stadium's facade will be preserved, but will return to its grayish color, as in the original construction.
\ \
"We're going to restore the stadium's lightness. It was built in 1950 with a single color, cement, and we're going to restore its original color. It will also receive a roof, which will give it a modern feel. Internally, there will be renovations, with significant structural work," said the secretary, adding that Quinta da Boa Vista, in São Cristóvão, could serve as a parking lot and public reception area during the World Cup.
\
The project also foresees a reduction in capacity from 85 to 83 seats. The bleachers and seating areas will be unified, giving all fans attending matches a full view of the pitch.
\ \
Open until September, Maracanã will be able to host matches in the Campeonato Carioca, the Copa do Brasil and Flamengo's Libertadores, even if the red-black club qualifies for the semi-finals after the 2010 World Cup.

Delamare and Célio de\ Barros survive
\ \\ \
Another important decision announced this Thursday concerns the Júlio Delamare Aquatic Park and the Célio de Barros Athletics Stadium, which are part of the Maracanã complex and will no longer be demolished.

In the initial proposal sent to FIFA, the two locations would be demolished due to the need to have an area in the stadium designated for sponsors, authorities, press and VIP guests of the organization.

Flamengo finally starts to plan 2010
\ \After Andrade's stay, the club prepares for the series of meetings that will define its squad and schedule
\ \ \ \\ \
\ \
\ \
Andrade wants to work with 24, 25 younger players from the youth academy in 2010
\ \With Andrade's permanence decided, the red-black board will begin to truly put together the entire plan for 2010. The coach announced that he will spend his vacation in Rio de Janeiro, always in contact with the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, to outline the guidelines for the Flamengo for a year in which he competes for the fourth Rio and Copa Libertadores.
\ \\ \
Renewals, signings, and dismissals will be the main topics. But so will the schedule. So far, the club hasn't decided where it will hold its preseason. Teresópolis, in the mountainous region of Rio, and Porto Feliz, in the interior of São Paulo, are among the options.
\ \\ \
- Starting next week, we'll hold several meetings to build a strong squad. It's a special year, and Flamengo needs to be strong. It will be difficult to maintain this championship performance. Brazilian and state, but we will seek this –\ said Marcos Braz.
\ \\ \
The director also confirmed that some matters are better resolved. Among them is the renewal of Everton's contract, whose contract expires this month. The player belongs to Traffic, which has been approached by Espanyol and Tigres, from Mexico.
\ \\ \
"We've already started working on that. His contract is ending now, and we're trying to get him another loan. It's well advanced. I don't think we'll have any major problems," said Marcos Braz, emphasizing that Flamengo has not yet received an official offer for any player.
\ \\ \
\ \
The only one came from Benfica\ for midfielder Aírton, but it was not well received as it was below the release clause\ of €8 million (around R$20 million).
\ \\ \
- Only Benfica's official offer of €3 million (around R$7,6 million) for Aírton has arrived. As Flamengo has 15% of that amount (around R$1,1 million), for now it is not of interest - said Braz.
\ \\ \
Andrade is also concerned about having a strong squad to compete in the Libertadores, Carioca, and Brasileiro. He has even suggested names for signings and stated the number of players he intends to work with.
\ \\ \
"Even before the championship ended, there were names on the table that I intended to share with Marcos. But the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship was turbulent, and everyone was focused on the decisive games and didn't have time to talk about it. Now we'll get back to it and discuss players and positions where we're lacking. We need to have a lean group, with 24 or 25 players, making the most of the rest with the youngsters from the youth academy," Andrade said.

Marcio Braga: 'The right thing would be a dark room'
\ \The president of the red-black club says that the renewal with Andrade should have been carried out in absolute secrecy.

Marcio Braga criticized the way in which the renewal of coach Andrade was handled

\
Controversial and victorious. This could be the profile of Flamengo's six-time Brazilian champion, Marcio Braga. The director did not participate in the negotiations involving the renewal of coach Andrade's contract, however, he approved the new commitment. In an exclusive interview with LANCENET!Marcio Braga stated that continuing the work was the right decision for the Rubro-Negro to continue competing for titles in 2010. However, he harshly criticized the media coverage of the case. According to the president, the negotiation should have been conducted in a dark room at the Ninho do Urubu Training Center in Vargem Grande, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro:
\ \"The renewal was excellent for Andrade and Flamengo. We shouldn't mess with the football. The right thing to do is to keep all the players from this winning team. The annoying thing is that everything was too exposed. Andrade earned R$10 as an assistant coach. He was made permanent as coach and now earns R$50. With the sixth title, a salary of around R$100 and R$150 was considered. He ended up asking for R$250, which became unfeasible for Flamengo. We reached an agreement, and it seems everything has been resolved. The friction occurred because they let everything leak to the press. The right thing to do would have been to lock everyone in a dark room, at Ninho do Urubu, and sort it out. They didn't need all this publicity," lamented the director.
\ \Although Patrícia Amorim's inauguration was brought forward to next Tuesday, Marcio Braga remains in charge of Flamengo until December 31st. According to the director, he leaves the position with a sense of duty fulfilled and ready to help the club in whatever way is requested:
\ \"I took over Flamengo in a serious situation and I'm leaving the club with hegemony in the state and in Brazil. Now, let's get on with the football and fight for the fourth state title and seventh Brazilian title. I'll be available for whatever Flamengo needs. Always close by and just a phone call away," he said.
\ \For the red-black leader, the club's priority in 2010 will be winning the Libertadores and the Club World Cup:
\ \"We're strong in Rio and in Brazil. We're going to invest seriously in our quest for the Libertadores so we can return to the World Cup," concluded the ever-optimistic president of the red-and-black club.

One of Flamengo's key players in the run that secured the club its sixth Brazilian championship, right-back Leonardo Moura, is enjoying a family vacation in the city of Búzios, in the Lakes Region of Rio de Janeiro. Even so, he keeps a close eye on what's happening in Gávea.
\ \Wanted by the report\ of LANCENET! , the player celebrated coach Andrade's continued leadership of the club. According to Leo Moura, the coach won over the group with his character and dignity:
\ \"Since taking over Flamengo, Andrade has always been clear with the players. He's a guy who speaks and looks people in the eye. A person with character and dignity wins over the group of players and manages to do his job calmly, as happened. I'm happy he's staying in 2010," he said.
\ \Looking ahead to 2010, the full-back believes that maintaining the base will be crucial for Flamengo to compete for titles next season:
\ \"My expectation is that Flamengo can have a good campaign and compete for titles. Our first challenge will be the Campeonato Carioca, which is always competitive and difficult. I believe the board should once again maintain the core of the team, as in recent years, and I think this will be important for next season. I hope I can continue helping Flamengo play good football and fight to be champion. I know my responsibility and my importance to the team. I had the honor of completing 250 games wearing the red-and-black jersey, and I am motivated to pursue more milestones like this," concluded the full-back.
