Fla\ may lose Éverton to Tigres of Mexico
\
\
\ Businessman agrees to renewal in the morning, but backs out in the afternoon
\
\
\ For Traffic, the company that owns 90% of Éverton's economic rights, and his agent, Carlos Jatobá, playing in the Libertadores Cup with Flamengo is no longer the best deal. Hours after confirming that he had reached an agreement to renew the striker's contract with Flamengo, Jatobá wavered in the face of pressure from Tigres, a Mexican club that reportedly offered 4 million euros for 80% of the player's rights. The agent and Traffic claimed that the arrival of an offer from abroad was always conditional on negotiations for the player's continued presence.
\
\
\
\
\
\ - I have to talk to Traffic and find out more about all this, but I think he will end up leaving, Jatobá confirmed to Globoesporte.com. - Everything was already set for him to stay at Flamengo, but now I don't know what the situation is anymore.
\
\
\
\
\
\ After a meeting in Gávea yesterday morning, Jatobá announced a one-year deal with Flamengo. Under the terms agreed, the club would be obligated to release him if an offer came from abroad, which arrived even before the contract was signed. Besides profits for Traffic, the transfer offers the player attractive bonuses and salaries. Flamengo is left with the option of selling the 10% interest it holds on the striker's economic rights. Late yesterday afternoon, Traffic director Fernando Gonçalves recalled that the transfer was a possibility Flamengo was aware of in the event of an irresistible offer from abroad, although the company had not yet received any official document by the end of yesterday afternoon.
\
\
\
\ With the goal of maintaining the core squad without increasing expenses, the football board has faced difficulties in renewing contracts. Represented by his wife, Ricássia, defender Ronaldo Angelim has not yet reached an agreement to stay. Although he has already agreed to a one-year contract, when his initial intention was to stay at the club until 2011, the scorer of the Brazilian title-winning goal is still discussing salaries.

Love far from a happy ending with Fla

\ \

Verdão's board demands money or another player to allow Love's transfer to Flamengo

\ \

BY THALES SOARES

\ \

Rio - For Vágner Love to realize his dream of wearing the Flamengo jersey in 2010, the Flamengo board will need to offer Palmeiras some compensation, whether it be a player or a sum of money. Yesterday, Palmeiras president Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo admitted to releasing the player, but not for free. The problem is that Mengão's directors are unwilling to offer money or players to Verdão.
\
\ "I understand Vágner's position of not wanting to continue. But Palmeiras made a large investment to bring the player and will not change its position. We are willing to talk. If it is good for both parties, the deal can go through," Belluzzo told Jovem Pan radio.
\
\ Even the player's agent, Evandro Ferreira, has already changed his tune and is treating Vágner Love's situation with caution. He said the player should indeed return to Palmeiras on Tuesday for the start of preseason.
\
\ PALMEIREN FAN MOCKS FLA
\
\ The attacker's assault at a bank branch in São Paulo didn't faze Palmeiras officials. The club's vice president of football, Gilberto Cipullo, recalled even worse incidents experienced by Flamengo fans in recent seasons.
\
\ "People talk about the violence of Palmeiras fans, but Flamengo fans invaded the club's training center about a year ago and threw bombs at the players. Now, things have only changed because of the title," Cipullo told Rádio Bandeirantes.
\
\ The invasion took place in the second half of 2008, when Flamengo went 11 games without a win in the Brazilian Championship. But it took place at Gávea, not at the training center. Fans threw bombs onto the pitch. In 2002, after a loss in the Libertadores, goalkeeper Júlio César was attacked at Gávea. In 2004, at Santos Dumont Airport, fans and players fought after a 6-1 rout by Atlético-MG.

\ \

OUTGOING
\
\ Midfielder Éverton had everything in place to renew his contract with Flamengo and stay for another year, but Tigres, from Mexico, made an offer to buy his rights from Traffic and should take the player.
\
\ CLOSER
\
\ Defender Ronaldo Angelim had already agreed to reduce his contract from two years to one, and now he has reduced his salary request. This brings the player and the club closer to an agreement.

\ \

\ \

\ \

Obina could end up at Atlético-MG

\ \

Rio\ - At the request of Vanderlei Luxemburgo, new coach of Atlético-MG and who worked\ with Obina at Palmeiras in 2009, the Minas Gerais club will try to sign the attacker to Flamengo. What can weigh on the negociação is that Rubro-Negro only accepts to sell the player, since the contract goes until the end of 2010.
\
\

\ \ \ \
\
\ \ \ \

\ Luxembourg's request would have been made after the Gallic announce the sale of striker Éder Luís to Benfica, Portugal. The club's president, Alexandre Kalil, has already admitted that it is a difficult negotiation, as Flamengo wants around R$3 million to sell the player.

\ \

\ \

\ \

Max Biancucchi should be the first to leave Flamengo in 2010

\ \

Rio\ - He arrived at Flamengo with the responsibility of repeating the success of his famous cousin, Barcelona striker Messi. But after two seasons with the red-black team, Max Biancucchi is expected to have his contract with the Gávea club terminated in the coming days. The player's contract runs until July 3, 2010, but negotiate an amicable exit with the\ leaders.

\ \

The Argentine was signed in 2007 from Sportivo Luqueño, from Paraguay, at the time indicated by coach Valdir Espinosa. At Flamengo, Max Biancucchi played 69 matches, scoring nine goals with the red-black shirt. He is not part of the plans of the technical committee of the Gávea club.

Flamengo rejects loan and Obina is far from Galo

\ \

\
Belo Horizonte (MG)

\ \

Striker Obina, considered a possible reinforcement for Atlético-MG in 2010, should only sign with Galo if Flamengo, the owner of the player's economic rights, releases him on loan. The Rio de Janeiro club's board, however, should only accept the transfer of the athlete by selling him for value which would be around R$ 3 million. The vice president football fans from Fla, Marcos Braz, says he is unaware of any proposal.
\
\ Obina's contract with Flamengo has only one year left. Flamengo is awaiting the opening of the international transfer window in January. It is believed that some Arab clubs would be interested in acquiring the player.
\
\ Obina would be a new option for the Atlético squad, which, after losing Éder Luís to the Portuguese side Benfica, only has as attacking options the Brasileirão's top scorer, Diego Tardelli, and the recently signed Muriqui. The Galo youth teams would be another alternative: champion of the Taça BH and runner-up in the Brazilian U-20 Championship, the 'Galinho' has been calling
attention in the national context and revealing\ new promises.

With Everton's renewal, Verdão focuses on Kléberson for Love

\ \

\
Sao Paulo-SP)

\ \

The confirmation of midfielder Everton's contract renewal with Flamengo this Wednesday was a blow to Palmeiras' ambitions. The team dreamed of involving the player in a trade with attacker Vagner Love, who is negotiating his move to Gávea. With the end of dream, midfielder Kléberson must be included in conversations between the clubs' boards.

\ \

"The focus of the negotiation was Everton, but Flamengo claims that (coach) Andrade is resisting his transfer. I think Kléberson interesting. He's a good player. We're insisting on these two players," said Palmeiras president Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo in a statement to Radio Globo this Wednesday.

\ \

Thus, Flamengo has narrowed its options to be able to count on Vagner Love in 2010. This is because Palmeiras will only agree to release the player if it receives players from Gávea - Chilean striker Gonzalo Fierro, who has been in Verdão's plans in the past, would be another viable option in the negotiation. Love will not leave Palestra Itália for free.

\ \

"Palmeiras cannot give in because they spent a lot of money on Love, not on the loan (from CSKA, in Russia), but on salaries, etc," said the director - the club still owes a month's payment for image rights, which should be paid in the next few days.

\ \

"We have to think, first and foremost, about the club's interests. I can't give away a player without something in return," Belluzzo added.

Flamengo announces the renewal of Everton

\ \

\
Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

\ \

No surprises:\ midfielder Everton has signed a new contract with Flamengo for the 2010 season. The\ final details of the renewal were discussed this Wednesday afternoon by the\ Rio de Janeiro team.

\ \

Everton was in Palmeiras' sights for the Paulista Championship and the Copa do Brazil. However, he preferred to sign with Flamengo for one year.

\ \

Flamengo's initial intention was to sign a contract with Everton that would last longer than one season. "We want a long-term contract with the athlete," said Marcos Braz, vice president of football fans of Rubro-Negro, on the night of this Tuesday.

\ \

With Everton staying, the possibilities of Vagner Love playing for Flamengo in 2010 become smaller. The Gávea team will only\ get it right with the gunner when Palmeiras is released for free.

\ \

In return, Verdão's president, Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo, promises to "look after the interests of his institution." Therefore, he demands compensation for Love.

Guaranteed at Fla, Everton Silva wants the same squad in 2010

\ \

\
Gazeta Press - Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

\ \

After renewing his contract for another four years, Flamengo's right-back, Everton Silva, highlighted, in an interview with Radio Brazil,\ the importance of Flamengo maintaining the base that so much success reached in current season. The team was crowned state champion and, after a 17-year drought, achieved its sixth Brazilian title.
\
\ "2009 was the best year of my career because I had the opportunity to win the third Rio de Janeiro championship and the sixth Brazilian championship. And for next year to be a good one, it is essential that Flamengo can maintain its squad. Airton has already left and others could leave, which will be very bad for our team, which will face major challenges, such as participating in the Libertadores," the player highlighted.
\
\ Everton said he received an offer from abroad to leave Flamengo, but refused because he considered that an athlete can only leave the Gávea club if he receives an offer considered above his expectations.

Amid loans and negotiations, Fla tries to define the squad

\ \

\
Gazeta Press -\ Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

\ \

Flamengo continues trying to define its squad for next season. The vice president football fans from Flamengo, Marcos Braz, decided not to involve player some in negociação to attacker Palmeiras' Vagner Love, because, according to him, it makes no sense for the Rio de Janeiro club to be pressured. With this position, midfielder Everton's chances of staying at Gávea have increased, as he will not be involved in any trade with Palmeiras.
\
\ In the next few hours, a meeting will be held between Flamengo and Everton's agent, Carlos Jatobá, to discuss the permanence of the player who is recovering from injury and is considered essential by coach Andrade due to his versatility.
\
\ Meanwhile, Eduardo Manhães, executive director of the football department, revealed that Argentine striker Maxi Biancucchi will be released. He has a contract until July of next year, but has already been informed of the decision and will not even be joining the rest of the squad. Maxi has been rarely used by Andrade and is not part of the coaching staff's plans.
\
\ Midfielder Vinicius Colombiano and striker Vander, who came through the youth ranks, will be loaned out. Vinicius will go to América-RJ, while Vander will play in the state championship for Bangu. Striker Paulo Sérgio, left-back Egídio, who were at Figueirense, and midfielder Léo Medeiros, who played for Bahia, will return next week, and coach Andrade will decide whether they will be used or loaned out again.

Ronaldo Angelim is still far from an agreement with Fla

\ \

\
Gazeta Press -\ Rio de Janeiro (RJ)

\ \

Defender Ronaldo\ Angelim and the board of directors Flamengo They continue to talk about renewing the contract, but an agreement still seems distant. Through his wife, who is his representative in the negociações, player asked for a 130% increase in their salaries, which scared the Gávea club.
\
\ Ronaldo Angelim compromised on the length of his contract, having intended to sign for two years, but has now agreed to one year. However, he remains adamant on the salary issue, considering he is the least valued starter in the squad.
\
\ Manager Eduardo Manhães said he will talk to vice-manager Marcos Braz to find out how far the club can go to meet Angelim's needs without compromising its reality.
consultantHowever, he doesn't show much optimism about a quick resolution to the problem. "He made a request that was much higher than the club expected. And now we're working with a new reality," he explained.

Erik Flores will be loaned to Internacional in 2010

\ \

From UOL Sports

\ \

In Rio de Janeiro

\ \

Flamengo may be parting with a promising young player. After being compared to Adílio, Erik Flores is packing his bags for Internacional. The deal is expected to be finalized on Monday, after the holiday season. The player will be loaned for one year, with the possibility of acquiring his rights after the contract expires.

\ \

"Erik Flores' path is Internacional. Everything is very well advanced and the player should go to the Rio Grande do Sul club. He is young and needs to improve his value. Then, if the club wants to exercise the right to buy, it will be a good deal for Flamengo and Internacional," said Reinaldo Pitta, the player's agent, to UOL Esporte.

\ \

While the youngster heads for the Pampas, the Gávea club is trying to find its feet in attack. Obina has the possibility of returning to the red-and-black team, and Vagner Love may also join Adriano. Zé Roberto, Adriano's attacking partner in 2009, is practically out of the running.

\ \

Flamengo will carry out its 2010 pre-season in Porto Feliz, São Paulo. The preparation period will be very short, as the players must report to Gávea on January 5th, and on the 17th, the team will debut in the State Championship, when it faces Duque de Caxias.

After confirmation, Everton can leave Flamengo

\ \

Bernardo\Feital

\ \

In Rio de Janeiro

\ \

Everton's situation at Flamengo is starting to take on the tones of a good soap opera. And, apparently, a Mexican one. After being speculated about in numerous transactions, including a barter deal with Vágner Love, the player may be packing his bags for Tigres, in Mexico. The offer, however, hasn't reached the ears of the company that holds his economic rights, Traffic.

\ \

"We heard about this news and it's a surprise to us. We haven't received anything. We were previously negotiating with the Mexican club, but it was a loan deal and we didn't reach an agreement. But it seems that, according to the athlete's agent [Carlos Jatobá], the offer is irresistible. We'll wait and see," said Fernando Gonçalves, Traffic's executive director, to UOL Esporte.

\ \

Everton had a great year for the Red-Blacks. The athlete proved versatile and earned Andrade's trust. For much of the year, the midfielder was used at left-back while Juan, the regular starter, was injured. In the final stretch of the Brazilian Championship, he injured his left foot and only returned in the final round.

\ \

The midfielder is a revelation from Paraná and arrived at Flamengo in 2008. Right from his debut he impressed in a classic against Fluminense [the game ended 2-2]. With Flamengo, the player won the State Championship and the Brazilian Championship in 2009.

\ \

Flamengo will conduct its 2010 pre-season in Porto Feliz, São Paulo. The preparation period will be very short, as the players must report to Gávea on January 5th, and on the 17th, the team will debut in the State Championship, when it faces Duque de Caxias.

After winning three state titles and six Brazilian titles, Everton Silva wants the Copa Libertadores

Everton Silva renewed for another four years

\ \

\ \

Right-back Leonardo Moura will have a shadow for another four years at Flamengo. Reserve Everton Silva renewed his contract with the Gávea club and celebrated 2009, in which he won three state championships and six Brazilian championships. Despite the reality of his achievements, the player seems to have little faith in this year's achievements.

\ \

"I never imagined that I would win two titles this year. And I want more. It was a wonderful season for me and my teammates because of the State and Brazilian Championships," said Everton Silva in an interview with Rádio Brasil.

\ \

The player isn't talking about taking Leonardo Moura's place, as coach Andrade considers him practically the man to be in charge. However, Everton Silva is already dreaming of another title: next year's Copa Libertadores. Earning a spot will be tough, but he wants to be in the group that will fight for another trophy.

\ \

"Now we're going to the Libertadores with a strong team. I hope to win the title and celebrate a lot. I'll stay at Flamengo for another four years. This will be very important for my career," analyzed Everton Silva.

\ \

According to the full-back, keeping the coaching staff, and especially Andrade at the helm, is crucial for the red-and-black squad, which is in sync with the professionals. However, he lamented the loss of some players who were on the team that won this year's Brazilian title.

\ \

"It's good for Flamengo and for us players to keep the coaching staff. But we've lost some players who will be sorely missed. I believe the club will strengthen itself to the level of the teammates who won't be staying with us in \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ The midfielder signed for another season with the Rubro Negro on Wednesday afternoon, putting an end to speculation with Palmeiras. This reduces the possibility of Vagner Love coming to Flamengo at the start of the 2010 season, as the green and white club is unlikely to let a player of this level leave without anything in return.

\ \

\ \

Léo\Medeiros hopes to return to Flamengo

\ \

Rio de Janeiro - Midfielder Léo Medeiros hopes to return to Flamengo. The player is awaiting coach Andrade's decision on whether or not he will be included in the championship squad next year. Léo Medeiros' contract with the club runs until December 31, 2010.
\
\ Andrade's assistant coach, Marcelo Salles, praised the player and stressed that he could play for any team in the country. Léo Medeiros will await Andrade's decision and in the meantime enjoy his vacation in Recreio, Minas Gerais.(AB)

Check out Márcio Braga's farewell letter

\ \

Rio de Janeiro: Márcio Braga will hand over his position to president-elect Patricia Amorim, who will take over Brazil's most popular club starting in January. The current president made a point of writing a letter to wish Patricia a successful three-year term (2010, 2011, 2012) at the helm of Flamengo. Check out the letter from the president who has won the most matches in charge of the Rubro-Negro.

\ \

 Follow the letter in full:

\ \

Rio de Janeiro, December 30, 2009

\ \

Comrades\ red-blacks,

\ \

When handing over the presidency to Patrícia Amorim, I would like to express my emotion at the privilege of having my life linked to the history of Flamengo over the past 33 years.

\ \

During this period, I served as president of the Club for six terms, totaling 14 years. I also chaired the Deliberative Council twice, totaling another four years.

\ \

I spent 18 years leading one of the Powers of Flamengo on different occasions. This adventure gave me the glory of having been the most successful president in our history, with the Brazilian Championship for the first time, in 1980, the Libertadores and the World Championship in 1981, the Bi-Brazilian 82, the Tetra in 1987, the Penta in 1992 and the Hexa in 2009.

\ \

In these last two terms, from 2004 to 2009, in addition to the consecrating Hexa-Brasileiro campaign, Flamengo won the Copa do Brasil and was Carioca Champion four times (Penta-Tri).

\ \

We have achieved undisputed dominance in Brazilian football, the best in the world. Flamengo has the largest and most beautiful fan base on the planet and is the most valuable club in the country.

\ \

All this glory in football was achieved simultaneously with countless victories in rowing and basketball and the prominence of Flamengo athletes, wearing our jersey and that of Brazil, in gymnastics, swimming, and so many other Olympic sports. Flamengo has therefore preserved its tradition as a multi-sport club.

\ \

I was first elected president on December 28, 1976, and the first board meeting was on January 4, 1977. At that time, Flamengo was already very popular, but it faced serious administrative and financial difficulties. Salaries were late, the club wasn't paying taxes, and it owed money to more than 30 banks. In two terms, we restored its credibility, organized its administration, and restored its sporting prestige. We were three-time Rio de Janeiro champions, in addition to the aforementioned Brazilian championship. We modified the bylaws, limiting reelection to only one term.

\ \

When I was called to run for election again in 1986, Flamengo was once again in crisis. History repeated itself. We managed to restore Flamengo's credibility and prestige. The statute was again modified to establish direct elections.

\ \

Not only Flamengo, but all of Brazilian football was in crisis at the time. With Flamengo's decisive participation, the creation of the Union of Great Brazilian Clubs (Club of 1987) was consecrated in 13, a revolution in football management in our country. And the Copa União was instituted, whose victory by Flamengo gave us the fourth title.

\ \

In 2003, the Club was once again experiencing a serious crisis. The then president had been impeached. I was once again elected with the responsibility of facing major challenges.

\ \

When I took office in January 2004, Flamengo's situation was dire. Salaries were three months overdue. The club didn't even have a checkbook. The Federal Court had declared insolvency. The ruling ordered Flamengo to sell all its assets to pay its creditors. If that had happened, it would still owe R$139 million (negative equity).

\ \

None of that happened. I pledged my political credibility and my personal endorsement. We worked hard, and in these last six years, we have led Flamengo back to the path of victory.

\ \

In addition to its hegemony in football and achievements in other sports, Flamengo has its salaries paid up to date, has just undergone an independent financial audit and has signed contracts that guarantee revenues of more than R$100 million annually.

\ \

I use the plural to\ recall this story because I understand that victory is a collective construction.\ These achievements were possible thanks to the active participation of many people. In\ our case, victory is the result of a fundamental value: commitment to the\ Rubro-Negra Cause. That is what sets us apart from others.

\ \

And that is why I insist on recording 274 names in this letter – even though I know that, betrayed by my memory, I must be committing an injustice to other people. To all those I am citing – among friends, companions, allies, adversaries, critics and even personal enemies – I credit this status of people committed to the Rubro-Negra Cause, and a special mention to the club's employees over the years.

\ \

Patrícia Amorim and the new Board of Directors welcome Flamengo, who still faces major challenges, but is completely different from six years ago, with high morale due to the Hexa title and credibility, and also with projects in an advanced stage of study, which could have a major positive impact on the Club's future:

\ \

- Fla Novas\Generações, which brings together our social responsibility programs.

\ \

- Olympic Fla, for the training of athletes and competitive teams in Olympic sports.

\ \

- Fla Futebol, which makes possible the incorporation of CFZ, of the great idol Zico, contributing to the business management of football.

\ \

- Gávea Revitalization Program, to renovate our headquarters and build new spaces for sports, cultural and social activities.

\ \

A young woman and a member of the club, Patrícia is from a different generation and brings a fresh perspective. When I took over as president in 1977, Patrícia began her career as an athlete at Flamengo at the age of eight.

\ \

I know that the new president and her team are also people committed to the Rubro-Negra Cause and are fully capable of succeeding, winning and advancing even further towards Flamengo's destiny of glory.

Flamengo has new sponsorship for 2010

\ \

Marcio Braga signs a memorandum of understanding with a company for an annual contract worth R$25 million without exclusivity.

\ \

Rodrigo\Benchimol Rio de Janeiro

\ \

\ \

President Marcio Braga is expected to announce, this Thursday, the last day of the year, the future sponsor of the Flamengo for 2010. The director signed, this Wednesday, the protocol of intentions with Batavo.
\
\ GLOBOESPORTE.COM has learned that the signed contract will be for one year and will earn Flamengo R$25 million. There is no exclusivity. In other words, Batavo will only print its brand on the front and back of the red-and-black jersey, as was the case with Ale.
\
\ This frees up the sleeves and shorts for a different sponsor. The club's executives believe they can earn an additional R$15 million from these spaces, totaling R$40 million in annual revenue from soccer sponsorships.
\
\ This was the prerogative for not accepting the proposal made by Hipermarcas (of which Bozzano is a part), which offered a contract worth R$28 million per year, but with exclusivity. In other words, Flamengo could not attract new sponsors for the sleeves and shorts, and increase its annual revenue. In addition to Hipermarcas, the club also spoke with Ale itself and with BR (linked to Petrobras).
\
\ The agreement with Batavo, which in 2009 put its brand on Corinthians' shirt, was finalized this Wednesday. President Marcio Braga intends to announce it this Thursday.

\ \

\ \

\ \

Flamengo begins to have its 2010 face

\ \

The club loans Erick Flores to Internacional, Paulo Victor to Ceará and could lose Fabrício. But so far, they haven't signed anyone.

\ \

Rodrigo\Benchimol Rio de Janeiro

\ \

Gradually, the Flamengo is rebuilding its squad for 2010. Without any signings so far, the board has taken advantage of the opportunity to make smaller transactions. Several names already know that they will not continue at the club or will be loaned out.
\
\ Of the starting lineup that won the Brazilian Championship, Flamengo has already lost Aírton to Benfica. They are unlikely to renew contracts with Everton, who is expected to go to Tigres in Mexico, or with Zé Roberto, who will return to Schalke 04 in Germany. There has also been no financial agreement for the renewal of defender Ronaldo Angelim.
\
\ But other situations have already been defined. Argentine Maxi Biancucchi, for example, will have his contract amicably terminated. Alex Cruz, whose contract has expired, will also no longer remain at the club. Defender Marlon is also expected to leave. Erick Flores will be loaned to
international.
\
\ - It will be a one-year contract. He will report there next Monday and Inter has an option to buy him at the end of the loan - explained businessman Rodrigo Pitta.
\
\ Defender Fabrício could also leave. The club's management denies that he will be traded. However, the player's agents are considering offers from both domestic and international markets, as they don't believe he has much of a chance of starting in 2010.
\
\ - There are clubs from abroad interested, but there is one from São Paulo and one from Belo Horizonte that are more advanced in the talks – admitted Pitta.
\
\ With the goalkeepers, a restructuring is also expected. Diego, whose contract is expiring, has not yet agreed on his stay, and the likelihood is that he will not renew. He would like to go to a club where he can be a starter, but the Libertadores Cup could be an incentive for him to stay. The goalkeeper coach, Roberto Barbosa, will decide his fate. Paulo Victor, the fourth-placed player at Gávea, is on loan for free to
Ceará for a year.
\
\ Striker Vander and midfielder Vinicius Colombiano were also traded for the Carioca championship. The former will be loaned to Bangu and the latter to América.
\
\ There are also situations where people return from loans. These are the cases of Obina, Paulo Sérgio, Egídio, and Lêo Medeiros. The first is in the crosshairs of
Athletic-MG, but he will only stay at Flamengo if a purchase proposal appears. The left-back and the young striker, who were in Figueirense, should be loaned again\ too. The supporter who was in the Bahia will have its permanence evaluated by the technical committee.

\ \

\ \

\ \

Angelim also accepts\ salary reduction

\ \

To stay at Flamengo, the defender has already given up his two-year contract and reduced his financial request. The board has yet to renew his contract.

\ \

Rodrigo\Benchimol Rio de Janeiro

\ \

\ \

Ronaldo Angelim has not yet had his contract renewed with Flamengo

\ \

Scorer of the goal that guaranteed the Brazilian Championship to Flamengo, Ronaldo Angelim has been demonstrating during the renewal negotiations that he intends to stay at the club in 2010. In addition to having already agreed to reduce his contract to one year, the defender has also reduced his initial salary request.
\
\ In the first round of negotiations, Angelim offered the following proposal: a two-year contract and a 130% increase in monthly receivables (including the salary adjustment and bonus payments in installments). At the beginning of the week, however, the defender backed down to try to finalize his stay at Flamengo once and for all.

\ \

\ \

According to an investigation by GLOBOESPORTE.COM, the player's new salary would not even increase by 100%. Even so, he would remain one of the lowest-paid starters. He enjoys his vacation in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará, and the person leading the negotiations is his wife, Ricássia, from there.
\
\ The red-and-black directors have said that the renewal is problematic due to Angelim's requests and the distance factor. GLOBOESPORTE.COM tried to contact the vice-president of football, Marcos Braz, and the executive director, Eduardo Manhães, throughout this Wednesday, but they did not answer the calls.

Everton is expected to go to Tigres in Mexico

\ \

A million-dollar proposal from Tigres, from Mexico, should take Everton away from Flamengo. Not even the meetings this Wednesday, in Gávea, between the midfielder's agent, Carlos Jatobá, and the red-black directors should be able to keep the player in Gávea in 2010.
\
\ In the morning and early afternoon, Jatobá met with the executive director of football, Eduardo Manhães. The meeting sealed the midfielder's stay at Flamengo for another year, with only the final details remaining between the club and Traffic. One of the clauses in the new contract would be that Everton could be negotiated if an offer came from abroad.
\
\ - Everything is fine. Everton has already agreed everything with Flamengo – said Carlos Jatobá to GLOBOESPORTE around 12:30 pm.
\
\ A few hours later, GLOBOESPORTE.COM learned that he had received an offer from Tigres. The Mexicans had officially expressed their interest in Everton and were offering a four-year contract. The amount was not disclosed, but it was reportedly around €4 million (approximately R$10 million) for 80% of the player's economic rights, with the player also receiving bonuses and an attractive salary.
\
\ Since Traffic owns 90% of the player's rights and Flamengo the other 10%, the final transaction is still unknown. However, it's quite possible that the club will sell its share.

Carlos Jatobá, Everton's businessman, was in Gávea this Wednesday

\ \

- In the meeting earlier, I told Manhães that there was a possibility that Everton would receive an official offer from abroad and that, if that were confirmed, he would leave. Everything was already set for him to stay at Flamengo, but now I don't know what the situation is anymore, because the offer has come to me. I have to talk to Traffic and find out more about all of this, but I think he (Everton) will end up leaving - Jatobá confirmed to GLOBOESPORTE.COM.
