Club has a new director of member relations

Rubro-negro Eduardo Saubel, a water polo laureate and current Remo executive, will take on the new role

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo has a new director of member relations. Eduardo Saubel, who also serves as the club's rowing manager, is a former champion athlete and a water polo laureate. He also has extensive professional experience in management positions.

Eduardo Saubel grew up in Gávea, where he made friends, met idols, received an education, and became an athlete. As a swimmer for Mais Querido, a club of which he is a co-owner, he twice won the State Championship and the Winter Trophy, as well as being a Brazilian runner-up. With the water polo team, he won three State Championships and the Brazilian Championship.

A graduate of the Colorado Institute of Art (USA), where he studied Communications and Design, Eduardo worked for two American companies as a graphic designer. In Brazil, he worked in customer relations and worked for major companies such as Globosat and Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional. Today, he is a partner and commercial manager at Ecoblox, a company focused on sustainable development.
