Colace will be on the bench for this Sunday's match against Vasco. Midfielder Hugo Colace has already been registered with the CBF and will be able to play normally in this Sunday's derby against Vasco at the Maracanã in the Brazilian Championship. The player even participated in a chat with the group that will be selected for the match before training on Friday.

The Argentine completed his full physical preparation last week and is ready to play for Flamengo. He will be on the bench as an option for the Flamengo coach. Joel Santana fielded the midfield in training this Friday with the following formation: Rômulo, Jaílton, Leo Medeiros, and Toró.

Colace is eager to debut in the Flamengo shirt.

"Of course I'm looking forward to playing in this classic. A lot of people have been telling me about this match, and I'll be there to see how it goes," says Colace, who signed a contract with Flamengo until November 30, 2008.
