Five songs still vie for the title of the Nation's new hit

The "MPB - Mengo Popular Brasileiro" Music Festival, which aims to discover another hit with Flamengo as its theme, concluded its second phase last Wednesday (October 31.10). The public voted among 11 songs, pre-selected in the first phase, and chose their favorites. The Rubro-Negro Historical Heritage Department/Flamengo Museum, given the level and quality of the songs, decided to classify five, rather than three, candidates for the final.
In first place in the popular vote was the song 'Isto é Flamengo', with 44% of the votes. Right after was the song 'Fla Maior', with 18,34%, followed closely by 'Exaltação ao Flamengo', which came in third, with 18,01%. In fourth place was 'Race, love and passion' (7,84%) and closing was the composition 'Mengão Mengão' (4,35%).
Those who qualify will be contacted by Flamengo's Historical Heritage Department to participate in the grand finale, which will be held during the "Papo de Rubro-negro" event at Fla-Concept, Gávea headquarters, on November 16th, from 19 pm to 23 pm, where the winner will be decided. The songs will be judged by a jury of illustrious Flamengo fans.
Flamengo's official website will soon publish more information about the final. It's worth remembering that all qualified teams will participate in the final, even if they can't perform in person. Therefore, their compositions will be reproduced.
