In an internal meeting on Monday night, the board of directors paid tribute to the 2009 Rio de Janeiro champions, marking Flamengo's fifth three-peat. The celebration was led by lawyer Michel Assef and attended by members of the football leadership, including Kleber Leite and Plínio Serpa Pinto, as well as former captain Fábio Luciano and Cuca, who represented the squad. This was the former defender's first return to Gávea since announcing his retirement a week ago.
