Board of Directors will pay tribute this Thursday

The meeting will remember world champions and other red-and-black personalities who marked an era.

Flamengo's board of directors will hold a solemn meeting this Thursday (15.12) at 20 pm, in the main hall of Gávea, for a series of tributes.

The players who won the Interclub World Cup, the Copa Libertadores da América and the 1981 Carioca Championship will be remembered at the meeting, as will the basketball team for winning the State Championship this year, Remo for winning the third Carioca Championship, former coach Cláudio Coutinho (in memoriam), and the junior football team for winning the 2011 Octavio Pinto Guimarães Tournament.

The president Patrícia Amorim, the president of the Board of Directors Maurício Roberto Gomes de Mattos, the secretaries of the board of directors Alcides Pinheiro da Silva and Luis Manoel Fernandes Costa, the vice-president of the board of directors Julio Cezar Mauro, the president of the Deliberative Council Sylvio Capanema, president of the Fiscal Council Leonardo Ribeiro, president of the General Assembly Bernardo Amaral, Vice-president of the Council of Great Benefactors Roberto da Silva Fragale and the vice-president of the Brazilian Olympic Committee André Gustavo Richer will be present.

To conclude the tributes, Olympikus will receive a plaque in recognition of the club's solid partnership and the sale of more than two million items this year.
