Modiba Isaac Choshane, South African Consul, Receives Flamengo Jersey as a Gift. South African Consul in São Paulo, Modiba Isaac Choshane, was in Gávea this Tuesday to watch Flamengo's training session. Accompanied by the club's vice president of marketing, Ricardo Hinrichesen Jr., he admits to potentially partnering with the Rio de Janeiro team in the future.

Modiba lives in São Paulo and says he supports Flamengo because of Zico. Encouraged by this, Flamengo's directors revealed that they intend to negotiate to have a team in the local league.

"Let's talk. Who knows, maybe we can establish a partnership. We have teams named Flamengo in England. Why can't we have a team named Flamengo in South Africa?" says vice president of marketing Ricardo Hinrichsen Jr.

The visit is also due to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The consul's plan is to exchange experiences with Brazilian club officials and professionals and, in the future, share them with his country.
