Copa Fla Nordeste promises to boost EscolinhaFla units in the region
Competition, held for the first time, will involve four categories and seven cities

This weekend, in the city of Feira de Santana, in Bahia, the first Copa Fla Nordeste will be held, a competition divided into four categories (under-11, 13, 15 and 17) and involving seven units of EscolinhaFla – Teresina, Porto Seguro, Eunápolis, Aracaju, Salvador, Feira de Santana and Vitória do Espírito Santo.
To further enhance the competition, which will classify the champions of each category for the finals of the Copa Fla Brasil, held in Gávea, in December, former player and idol of the Nation Julio Cesar 'Uri Gueller' will be present.
On Sunday (29.07), the day of the competition finals, the games will be held at the Joia da Princesa Stadium, kindly provided by the city of Feira de Santana, which will be represented by Mayor Tarcízio Pimenta.
Responsible for the EscolinhaFla franchises, José Martins praised the competition, which, according to him, will be remembered forever.
"This event is an important milestone for EscolinhaFla franchises, which are holding their first event outside of Rio de Janeiro, bringing together schools from a competing region," he concluded.
