Fla Choir welcomes guests in the Noble Hall
The groups' repertoire consists of classical, sacred-classical and MPB music.

Next Sunday (08.12), the CR Flamengo Choir will welcome 10 choirs to the Salão Nobre of the Gávea social headquarters, at 16 pm. Entry will be free and non-members will be able to enter on the day of the presentation.
"At this meeting, our choir will host 10 choirs in the Main Hall. There will be 600 people in the hall, and the 1-hour performance, with all the choirs singing together, will be very special," said Maestro Luiz Lima.
The repertoire will consist of classical, sacred-classical, and Brazilian Popular Music, such as "Tire to Álvaro," "Blue of the Color of the Sea," "Se Todos fosse igual a você," and "Hallelujah." Forty songs will be performed without intermission, and at the end of the show, all the choirs will sing together the songs "Se for Pra Ser Feliz," "Brazilian Christmas," "Christmas Medley," and "Peace."
The choirs will perform together and separately, with singing and acting.
Eleven vacancies open for partners
The CR Flamengo Choir was founded in 2007 and rehearses on Tuesdays from 15 p.m. to 18 p.m. in the playground at the Gávea clubhouse. The group is composed of both men and women and currently has 39 members. According to conductor Luiz Lima, there are still 11 spots open for club members who want to join. Those interested in joining can attend one of the rehearsals and ask Luiz for more information.
