Cuca denied having participated in a plot with his assistant

The tense atmosphere that had gripped Gávea is passing. At least that's the impression one gets after Saturday morning's training session. During the kick-off, Cuca stole the show. The coach scored an own goal and another for his team, which was trailing 9-8. That's when he warned the kick-off referee, assistant referee Marcelo Fera, to only end the match when his team tied.

Interestingly, Cuca scored again, leveling the score. Then, Fera called time on the game. As he was leaving, the coach was questioned by reporters about the agreement with the referee, and he exuded good humor in his response:

- I didn't say that.

After the activity, some players took the opportunity to practice free kicks. Bruno, Petkovic, and Adriano took a few. The goalkeeper enjoyed the experience of having Pet to help him hone his skills.

"It's always good to learn new things, especially with Pet, who is an exceptional penalty taker. Flamengo hasn't had a penalty taker like him in a while. He was very welcome, has a history here, and when he gets the opportunity, he'll be a huge help to us," he analyzed.
