In just under a month, Flamengo created its official facebook page and reached over 350 fans. This feat makes the Rubro-Negro the largest Brazilian club on the social network, but it still doesn't represent the size of Flamengo's fan base, which FIFA considers the largest in the world.

And to reward fans' participation and support in the quest to become the largest club in the Americas on Facebook, Flamengo will launch a contest when the club's page reaches 500 fans. The prize will be 10 official 2011 jerseys.
